I have been really ill for about two or three days. Got tested in ER tonight because I was struggling to breath. Rapid test was positive. They are doing a long term one (2days) to just confirm. I strongly suspected I had it, basically every symptom. Feels like elephant sitting on my chest, with a myriad of everything else.
Please wear your masks, wash your hands, disinfect your car doors, etc.
This is grossly miserable. Thought I was tired before!!

If you begin to feel worse or develop new symptoms such as vomiting and/or diarrhea please go back to the hospital. Don't try to tough it out. I know people who have died after a week or so of suffering at home.
Thank you for good advice. Will do. Have slept just now for verrry long time. Cannot seem to get rested. Different than my ms fatigue. Pain is different too. Doing breathing exercises when awake enough todo anything.
Thanks for writing back. I've been worried about you! And if you need that much sleep, take it. Sleep is when the body rejuvenates itself. It's kind of like the janitors who work at night so the school can open in the morning.
If you have it I sure hope it is a mild case! My son-in-law is just recovering and my daughter at home just found out one of her good friends came back positive. It's everywhere!!! I sure hope you recover soon.
There are several in our distanced friends and family who have / had covid-19. Symptoms varied from asymptomatic to "the worst case of flue imaginable", which the latter, is actually good compared to what it can be for some people. So hoping yours mild. Hang in there, and don't be afraid to call for help if needed. That's one reason why our medical professionals are considered hero's in this ugly pandemic. Yes, I stay armed PROPERLY wearing a half mask respirator with exhalation port masked, a N95, KN95, or old anti-viral mask, and a hand sanitizer in my pocket at all times, and wipes to clean my respirator. I do grocery stores fully protected, keeping distance, and avoid all restaurants (except for take away), I don't even know of any bars where I live, and gatherings.....well I voted fully masked and distanced.
Iβm so sorry that youβre having to deal with Covid. Please stay in bed and sleep. Your body needs the time to heal. Prayers for a full recovery. Please keep us posted when you feel up to it.
