Lip/mouth tremors

Have any of you experienced this? I’ve had it for about a week now. Started when I would get stressed or upset and now it’s most of the time. It’s making me crazy.

Mention it to your neurologist and let us know what he/she says. Ms is so unpredictable and unreliable 🤗

I don’t see the neuro till November 4. My list of questions is LONG. I don’t how I will even get through them all.

Don’t leave his office until you get all your answers and write his answers down so that you can read it properly when you get home. 🤗

Is it pretty constant? That must hard to cope with. Can you sleep?

I hope your neurologist has some ideas to help you. I’ve had it happen, but it’s only momentary.

No, but a week is longer than my neuro would want me to wait on reporting something new.

That must be annoying as you said. I have not had that but for the last month and a half I have been having problems with my tongue. I can no longer drink from bottles. My tongue doesn't seem to know what to do as the liquid is coming in. Annoying just like your tremors. I have no problems with cans or cups so thats the upside. Let us know what the doctor says.

Okay Tulip77, I have suffered something similar to this with my left hand and leg since I was 16. Mine is caused by hereditary essential tremor. First, I say, don't become a drunk, but see if a drink of alcohol settles it down. Try it a few days in a row, if it does help, talk to your DR. regarding essential tremor, there is a chance that one of the first ever blood pressure meds Inderol/Propanolol can help. When my family Dr. asked how I dealt with it, I told him that when I did the bills (writing checks), I had a glass of wine ahead of time and that resolved the symptoms. There are many other meds that can help with this, but there can be side effects. Just a possible solution, nothing more. NOTE: If your father had tremors, there is a high probability that this is the possible cause. It is genetic, and passed by the father.
