Yep. I checked, made sure it was in stock, but they are now out of stock and don’t know when they will have any at all. I take 30mg 4x day. They have enough 5mg to fill it for 10 days but needs doctor approval. It’s Sunday afternoon.
Called special number given to me by doctor to call for this exact reason only to find out it’s the main number.
Instructed to press “0”. It’s invalid.
I am so tired of fighting just to exist!

By the time you get ahold of the dr, they will be out again... 😢 l had to change pharma, because my smaller one told me that 1 time. Hang in there! 🤗💕🌠
I am so sorry. There is no excuse for this! The free market does not appear to be working very well in this case. It seems to me there needs to be an investigation into why the manufacturers of these drugs (or the pharmacies) cannot keep up with the demand. I wonder if the local news could look into it (consumer advocate type of reporter?). People who are seriously ill and in pain should not have to worry about being at the mercy of a system that clearly isn't working. This just f-ing sucks!
Small pharmacies are struggling, perhaps because the big chains dominate the supply chain. We've all seen the gov't advice to get the new vaccine against respiratory virus. It's difficult for small, rural pharmacies to obtain because the supplier wants the money up front, but though the pharmacy will be repaid, this takes months. Because the small pharmacies have less margin than the large national chains, they don't get the vaccine. This was the explanation from my local pharmacist so accept it with caution, but it explains why I haven't gotten the latest vaccine. I live nowhere near a large chain pharmacy likely to carry it.
Big and small pharmacy it is hit or miss if they have it. I went without all weekend. Pharmacy had different milligram available. Assured by doctor this wouldn’t happen.
I'm so sorry. If there' s different milligram available, can your doctor see a way to use a pill splitter (if that's how the drug is formulated) to give you an approximate dose? My doctor suggested that with one of my BP meds. It's a nuisance, but better than the alternative.
So sorry to hear that you're going through this. Maybe consider having your doctor's office contact the pharmacy on your behalf; could expedite a faster solution. Pray 🙏 it gets resolved for you. Keep us updated. Blessings. NeeC
So very sorry to hear this. Hopefully you have been able to get your meds by now. We have a pharmacy here that ROUTINELY runs out of meds of various kinds I had to switch pharmacies because of this.
I am so sorry you are going through this.. it is truly SO exhausting on a different level than anything else I have encountered.. hopefully your docs office will help patch you through today 🤞🏻
we get our meds from a small pharmacy and they are quite open about the fact that they hold back orders until they have enough orders for the same drug that allows them to at least break even on the order while the remaining sit on the shelf for 90 days until reorders come in. I believe they order in “bulk” to maximize profits. Nothing wrong with hat imo as long as you receive your drugs in a timely manner which also obligates you to place your order in a timely manner which On a 90 day supply would be about 10 days before you run out. You can’t wait until you have a one day supply and then call the pharmacy for a next day pickup.
