Can anyone recommend shoes I have foot drop. It is not that noticeable but I have had many falls with it. I don't want to wear a leg brace or anything else that draws attention to it.
I want a pair of shoes that would help any advice from anyone please.

I am not sure if there is a shoe that would help without a brace. Maybe somebody else does. I know wearing a brace doesn’t sound ideal but you would be amazed at the difference one makes. I got the one I had through an orthotist who made it to fit me. The ability it gave me to walk without tripping was incredible. I mean truly incredible! It was very small and lightweight. Also, it sure beat falling!
I have found that wearing Sketchers have helped me loads. They are cushioned and so comfortable. I wear them around the house without my leg brace but if I go out for the day, I wear my leg brace, again with a pair of Sketchers . CalfeeChick put me onto them, as she swears by them, and I have found a big difference. 😊
Yes, I highly recommend Sketchers, They are the only brand I wear. I even found a couple of brand new ones in my closet that I forgot about. The memory foam does eventually wear out, but a wash in the machine and line dry does refresh them.
I have occasional foot drop...mostly when I’m tired. I’ve learned that I can’t wear slip on shoes because they make the foot drop worse and more frequent. My foot slides around in them and causes me to stumble. And since I don’t go anywhere fancy, I now just wear sneakers that lace up.
I have an athletic pair for when I go walking that I bought through a sporting goods company. It’s a brand I hadn’t worn before but the sales person, pre-Covid, recommended it to me. The brand is Brooks. They have many styles but I like their ghost line.
When I’m not wearing those, I wear sneakers by the Ecco brand. They are pricey so I get them on sale but they have been really great for me. I also have a high top pair that gives me extra ankle support.
(I don't have MS but found this post after searching for discussions on foot drop.)
After falling downstairs on my bottom I had a hairline fracture of my right fibula, and subsequently found I had right foot foot drop due to damaging my right peroneal nerve. I wear a splint on that leg and foot. I await nerve conduction tests to find out where the nerve is damaged. I bought a pair of shoes from Cozyfeet. They allow room for the splint and the foot, and are comfortable. In my left shoe I have two extra insoles to give a comfortable fit.
