The other day, I noticed I had a long scratch on the side of my left leg. It doesn't hurt and I can't remember for the life of me, how I got it! Found another small scratch on the back of my hand today and I don't remember how I got that either. The only reason I know the one on my hand is there is that it started to hurt when I was washing my hands this morning! I frequently get bruises that I have no idea where they came from, but scratches are a new one for me.
Hope everyone is having a great day! It's in the 70s today and supposed to continue tomorrow. Took my dog for a walk today and she has been relaxing since.

That happens to me all the time. I work in my yard a lot so that's probably where they come from, but I sure don't remember getting them. Same with bruises. If I find one on my arm I know it's from running into the doorway but never remember when and where. I think that's because doorways erase your memory
rjoneslaw do you happen to sleepwalk? That could explain it if you are waking up all bruised and scratched? or maybe its something you did during the day and it didn't show up until the next day?
I was going up the stairs the other day and I hit my left elbow on the banister, oh my, did it hurt. I hit my funny bone, haven’t done that in years, it was so hard I thought I would bruise. The weird thing was, it was my right elbow that bruised. How do you explain that I don’t want people thinking I have lost it? 🤭
All the time! One on my back & one on my leg are the two most common-always the same spots. How I get the one on my back I have no idea because I can’t even reach that spot!
All the time! Scratches, bruises, cuts and scrapes ! I live with cats and dogs, and I fall/bump into a lot of things that keep getting in my way.....that probably explains it....
Yes I get scratches, and bruises all the time, without a clue where they come from. But, that's probably due to like everything else, I simply ignore pain as best I can. But really, the other day I woke up black and blue. Was I in a fight? No, I don't ever get in fights. Did someone beat me up in my sleep? Seriously doubt that would even be possible. Maybe it was the xxx? Or xxx? Or xxx? Oh well, so what? Does it really matter? I'm sure it will go away. Though when something like this prompts me to, I can look at the scar I got on my hand I got as a kid. And I remember it!!! Jumped off a big concrete sewer pipe that was part of a sewer upgrade project to stop rainwater flooding. I landed feet first by fell with my hands hitting the ground, right onto a broken pop bottle. Still remember what the piece looked like, from the base of the bottle. My mother patched it up, took a few weeks to heal, left a scar, that will stay for life. Oh well, no biggie. But how can I remember that, and none of the hundreds of things that happen nowadays?
I guess my memory was good, up till some point, and some of those events were well burned into my brain. That was till let's see...??? Can't remember. LOL! I guess sometime leading up to the time I finally had to stop working? About that, I vaguely remember going years with my neurologists telling me to seriously think about hanging up the towel, but I was still good at compensating with excellent paper means and day-timer (the carry around book with notes on everything/anything important), along with a great ability to always be punctual. !?!?!Maybe that was about the time I finally switched from a Day-timer to a smartphone???? Technology!? And I WAS a tech geek!?
