So for the past few days all of a sudden my eyes will go like cross-eyed and not focus. I have to close them, and wait it out. I also try to open one eye at a time and that works. But I can't focus them both at the same time. It takes about 5 to 10 mins. For them to get back to normal.
I don't think this is optic neuritis, but I don't know what it is.π€£π
Any ideas? π Help Me!

Yeah more presents! Not! I'm glad yours went away quick! I've had it before, just not as often. If it keeps happening, suppose I'm going to have to see if the eye Dr is even open.ππ€ππ¦
My eyes do that all the time, especially when I do something like write, or do some hand sewing! Buggy eyes ~ my MO ~ because I am a frog, you know, and I can no longer catch flies! Just teasing, Jesmcd2 Keep Smiling
My few vision issues resolved fairly quickly without any action on my part. Sounds like a call to your neurologist may be in order if it doesnβt stop quickly, and I sure hope it does.
fine just doing some yard work of and on ...had a get together last month with family at the beach was so great ...i always feel better at the beach...so how have you been ??? good i hope ...loving the beautiful sun but not if really hot right ...love and much happiness in your life and family and friends ...take care and stay safe...i have of course enjoyed some of the sun to much and boy does it wipe me out but it is so nice to feel it ....
I have experienced the same thing several times and was surprised how Bulged and Red my eyes got. I have seen in Ophthalmologist for 4mths for dryness, redness, itching and pain and stayed on ATB to treat those symptoms. Notice vision changes so prescription changed. I am now awaiting to see the Neuropthamologist but their schedule is booked until late Sept or Oct.
My eyes are driving me βnuts.β Itching, scratchy, blurriness, canβt read, left eye aches, feels like sand in eyes, light gives me headache, must squint - using every kind of eye drops in the house, plus two kinds of gel. My ophthalmologist has given me lots of samples over the ears. I donβt produce oil. And yes, I take omega oils, use olive oil, etc etc etc. . Someone on here said allergies?
Hi Jesmcd2 thatβs classic for MS and for me it was one of the first things that went wrong. I was at work and after staring at a computer screen or spreadsheet for too long my eyes would start crossing.
People joke about βgoing cross-eyedβ looking at charts, but this was actually happening to the point where I went in the bathroom stall at work, took a selfie video, and later played it for my doctor. Thatβs what finally won me a ticket to see a neurologist.
Cover one eye til it goes away. That helps. As for telling your doctor, they will likely say, βYes, that is a symptom of MS...β and send you on your way.
Hi HensTooth I've had bulbous optic neuritis, with the intense pressure. This is weird tho. It didn't happen yesterday.βΊοΈ So maybe it'll go away. If it happens again. I will put a call in. π€ππ¦
