This picture was hanging in my neurologist's exam room. As a quilter, I'm always looking for inspiration. I don't think I'm quite ready to put energy into a quilt like this. Besides, if I used my brain as a model, it would be a bunch of holes and lesions (more like the background)!

Would you like this quilt?
Was that a quilt? Very interesting, greaterexp I love the colors, but I guess that I would pass on that exact 'quilt'. Like you, I find inspiration in every-thing/one. Keep Smiling
No, I would have to pass on that one.
It is probably "fitting" for a Neurologist waiting room.
I will stick with butterflies 🦋
Not appetizing brain stem died
Oh my! No! Right now, I'd just have to leave that room! Looks to me like silk painting, where the circles come from where you drop alcohol or something. There are ways to manipulate color on fabrics, dying to achieve those designs. I have bought, and not yet used, some silk painting supplies, but plan to do something with scarves. If I live so long, and get past this bout with the MonSter and steroids. Thanks for sharing the pix!
That is different. I think I like it
Wow, interesting!
not a fan of a brain being on my wall
I think it would be a great quilt and especially if an msers brain. Robert
I would
wow it shows our brain when a person has MS...
A neurologist may like to have it as a quilt. I too look at things thinking that they would make a pretty quilt design. When you quilt it's really hard not to see things in a quilt. I do the same with hair also. I look at people's hair cuts, color and styles, some of them would do better to wear a quilted hat!
That is creepy!
Wow! Would certainly be a good conversation starter!
Aesthetically, this doesn't do it for me, although some of the brain MRIs I've seen are beautiful in their symmetry and complexity. Please don't use this as a model for one of your astonishingly lovely quilts.
no,it would just be a reminder,ms is something you don't need to be reminded of,it screams load and clear daily
Does not do it for me personally.
Very appropriate for a neuro's office!
Why not make a bed spread from insurance bills??
That way, you'll always be covered.
Hard to believe that that is an actual quilt. Whatever it is, it doesn't appeal to me. I'm sure there's a lot to admire about the human brain but I just wouldn't want to look at a large image of it--and I don't think it's typically green in real life. Green suggests mold to me. Or maybe green growing plants. But not the brain.
