You vent as much as you want. Nothing you say sounds petty, we all need to vent, no matter how large or small our problem is. You venting in your “petty” way as you call it, may help someone else on here. So, go ahead and vent. 🤗

Oh I agree the heat is killing me. I can’t take a deep breath. We have poor air quality warnings out and if I go outside I start coughing. Thankful for all the cooking cloths from MSAA! And fruit popsicles!and fans with my AC running full blast

Hi, Pam. Pity parties are okay. They’re a great way to get whatever it is out of your system. I used to feel ashamed because there are always going to be people worse off than you. Then I realized that that didn’t negate my pain, my fear, my depression. I usually invite only myself but lately I’ve been sharing with my husband and he listens patiently and tells me that I am entitled to feel that way and that he understands. He has really changed 180 degrees from awhile ago. I really do believe that he understands a lot better now.

it is great to have someone to listen and understand:)

I think it is good to get it all out here or wherever we can. I agree, the heat is horrible. It seems like I have never been anywhere as hot as Kansas, been above 100 for weeks! That is the temp, then the heat index as they call it here puts it at 110 or better! Ridiculous! Kelly

I know it makes you wonder,WHERE DO WE LIVE?on the sun:)

Hi Pam! I totally agree with you. About the heat and the complaining. First of all, YES, the heat gets me bad and quick. If we didn’t have a pool to get in I wouldn’t be able to be outside for even a short period of time. Even with all of our umbrellas and fans we have by the pool, it just doesn’t seem to be enough. And the heat saps every little ounce of energy I may have had.😩Now about “complaining”, I always tell me husband and son “I hate to complain, but...”, I don’t really consider it complaining on here. It isn’t really “complaining” when we do it any time but we’re all in this together on here. If we all can’t talk about it with each other, who can we talk with about it. My husband and son never act as if I’m a “big ole complainer about things” and they’re even extremely understanding and extremely, EXTREMELY helpful. But only we (MSers) can understand things and explain things in a way for the others to understand. So you tell us anything you want and ask whatever question you want! It is not complaining nor is it petty!

I’m glad I’m odd as the heat doesn’t bother me. The cold is bad for me though. I love to swim and I’m glad that is on thing MS hasn’t taken from me.
