I'm off to get my spinal MRI. This late, I could probably fall asleep in the tube. I'll request good Classical music. And my neurologist will probably call me tomorrow night with the results--that's his thing,

Spinal MRI
Hope you can nap!
Do you have far to travel? Hope everything goes ok, thinking of you 🤗
good luck with the nap
I really did get the nap! LOL! I had taken all my 9pm meds before I left, and I was already getting sleepy. So I while Iwas noting how the MRI was matching the tempo of "The Skaters' Waltz" (part of the scan really did match tempos!), I fell asleep. I only woke up because it was such a tight tube, and with the heat my skin was sticking to the sides--the radiologist was moving the table out of the tube. I think Ieft flesh behind.
I hope you get a great report! Napping is the best way to get through MRI's, isn't it?
I wish I was able to snooze in the tube; my leg will twitch and they have to wake me up and red that portion of the scan. Hope you have good results. Keep us updated when you can.
I always schedule mine really early bc i do fall asleep! Good luck with your results!
Just had mine last Thursday and report said no change!! I will talk with doctor Monday
My appointment was originally scheduled for 7:ooam. But I'd have to order a Lyft, and I started thinking the likelihood of having a driver show up at my house at 6:20am on a Sat. morning would be really iffy. So I called and changed it for a later appointment. They only had the 9:00pm one, same day. So with that, if my partner couldn't drive me, getting a Lyft would be more possible.
I didn’t know they’d schedule that late
I didn't either! When the scheduling clerk told me "very late", I was thinking, 7pm? Nope, 9:00pm. They were only offereing early morning or late night. (technically, my state is still on lock down, so it's kinda amazing MRIs are finally no longer considered"elective" completely. So either they're booked wall to wall, or they have to only offer weird hours, hoping most will pass. Anyway, it was almost 11pm before I even got out of the facility!
Crazy!!
