When I realized that my day to day routine didn't change much due to the self-quarantine restrictions, I wrote this article as a reminder to myself to stay in touch with people and not limit myself. mswellnessproject.com/chall...

Challenge yourself to stay connected in our shrinking world
good article
but b4 the lockdown I was like that ad only went out when I pt or dr appointment
That's how the last year has been for me- everything revolving around doctor appointments. That's why this really hit me that I don't want my live to be just me at home. It's kind of forced me to get more involved in things and I even learned how to video chat. Little things that made a big difference.
Nice. Our lives haven’t changed much either, except having to think about avoiding The microbes.
We were pretty busy with community things but that tapered off. However, the community is still there and supportive for us.
The avoiding the microbes really throws a wrench in my anxiety levels! I thought I was ok being home, doing my thing, and I mostly am-but now I think about getting sick all the time which I never did before. The few things I kept up with in the community kind of tapered off too since I was obsessed with watching the news. Now, here I am trying to get back to keeping in touch with people. Reaching out. My blood pressure already went back to normal. It makes a huge difference
We are good so far here but neighbors do come over since they are going stir crazy. Most are good about distancing so I guess it is ok and serves a needed purpose for mental health.
The news seems depressing to watch some of our leaders fumbling around ineffectively just worried about their own fortunes so I try to ignore it.
We try to focus on all the positives that we have, of which I am sure everyone has many as long as we don’t lose sight of them.
Very well written. It is very lovely. I have bookmarked it to read to my friends and family. Hope you don’t mind. ❤️❤️❤️
That's lovely. Sometimes you just need a little bit of confidence to reach out, don't you? ☺
Exactly! Thankfully, I have some close friends who don't take no for an answer on some things and video chatting was one of them. I was putting it off. Wasn't sure what to do, sounded boring etc- it's so much fun!!
i have learned through ms and now this virus,never take anything for granted
@pamgarner Very true!
