I am thinking of setting up a virtual MS support group over Zoom. Anyone interested?

It sounds interesting but I have to admit I would be that person who forgets .

Since this whole lock down I can't remember what day it is and lets not forget about time of day.

I have good intentions just really bad habits right now. I have not put on clothing since Jan my new attire is raggedy pjs (if you saw them you would want to know why they weren't in the trash and how they were holding on to my body). My hair has not not seen a comb in months. I'm secretly play survivor, and I was sent to extinction island waiting to get back into the game

Just an FYI Zoom is not a good thing! It has so many holes in it for a hacker to get into your computer. My husband is a computer security guy and has all but threatened me to use Zoom. The school systems were using it and another government entity that I can't remember used to use Zoom and have now declared it unsafe for users. Zoom will tell you that it has fixed its bugs but it hasn't completely. They have known for a long time there were problems and hadn't bothered to fix them and it wasn't until covid19 when a lot of people were using it and encountered problems that they decided to fix a couple of bugs. Here is just one review of Zoom nymag.com/intelligencer/202...

Does your husband know any alternatives to Zoom?

Webex by Cisco is pretty secure. Unfortunately most of the ones that are secure aren't free.

Another option my be microsoft team.

I would be interested if they were not over frequent. Maybe twice a month. It would be nice to meet everyone.

It might be interesting, but the time differences might be a challenge.

Don’t know if it would work... lots of people all talking at once... that would present quite a logistics challenge... it would be interesting 🧐

So, you have a whole bunch of people on 'mute'? Too funny :-D

I’m thinking of using GoToMeetimg for the group. I just need to know where everyone is so I can try to schedule a convenient time for it.

I will decide if I'm interested once I know what type of game, etc.

Actually, I just had my PCP's webinar via Zoom. While I didn't care that Zoom is Chinese or not secure, I agree with some comments below that it is not realistic for a large group of people (unless we go in order and introduce ourselves one by one, and I think we should do this). Even at live meetings, multiple people don't speak up at once.

Did you set up a support group?

If not, does anybody know of an online support group that might be good to attend?
