I carry and use my hand sanitizer and always wear my mask.
Iβve had to take a break from sewing, but am trying to cook up some meals for the freezer, pick our berries, and even play the piano a little. I even cleaned house today. Boo Hiss.
What have you been up to? Did you find someone to mow for you?
No Iβm going out. I was going Stir crazy even with things to do. Started working on the Afghan for my husband and I and a gem picture got to far ahead of myself with the gem pictures so I had to stop doing any more.
We went out to a local brewery/restaurant on Tuesday. They had reserved our favorite table for us and yes we had masks and hand sanitizer. Their werenβt many people there, all spaced out nicely. The staff had on masks.
Then some old friends (a couple) came in and sat down at our table, then one other friend! We tried to get them to sit at a table not far away but it didnβt work. The table was 5 or 6 feet long but only 2 or 2.5 feet wide. They were excited to see us after so long and asked to sit with us. We finally gave up and said yes.
Now we are staying in again, just in case someone was a carrier or had just been exposed recently. We were afraid that might happen. Our fault.
Aww Morllyn I'm sorry! Like you said, they just missed you too much! Unfortunately, ppl don't look at it as, I would much rather continue to miss you from afar, than make you very sick!
The dr called and asked me if I wanted to come in I told her I could do a July appointment.
Chgo just started letting us out of lockdown and curfew jail
I will go out for the 1st time since February for my 50th bday on Saturday. I will be going to see my grandmother who has been sick since Oct of last year
Iβm packing π¬ We went out for pizza last weekend and will go out again this weekend. We normally wash hands, so nothing new for us. I wear a mask and half of the time he doesnβt. I have to find my kid one before Tuesday when she starts a class π΅
I have zero skills beyond sewing buttons. I might be able to shorten the straps on one π₯΄
Iβm going pretty slow π Iβm trying to organize and donate at the same time. They are cute! Iβm so excited for the new house because they will have a fenced yard and a swing set π₯°
Hi Jess Mary here I have stayed in mostly but I do go to the grocery with Bill every so often. When the Governor lifted some of the rules we have gone out a couple of times to eat & are planing to go out this Friday with friends. How are you doing?
I have been out the whole time to grocery store, AA meetings, Costco, dollar store, and now restaurant. Have worn my mask and have sanitizer in the π. So far everything has been fine. Actually two of my doctors nurses have had it and back to work. Said flu π€ was worse. One of thems mother had it and was a little worse as she is eight years old and has heart condition but ended up fine, just lasted longer. π Ken πΎπΎ
I have no desire to go out. I think with all the protests we have the Covid will spike again, I have got used to my own company and FaceTime. I get my groceries delivered or my hubby does click and collect, and there is always Amazon, if I need anything π
I have been quarantined to home since March 12, before that I had the hip replacement on Feb 3, so I had only been to 1 Dr appt & 4 physical therapy appts. I had some lab work done to find out if I was healthy enough to restart infusions. Results were not good, very anemic. Very low Red blood cells and very low B cells. Dr. called me personally and grounded me. Was doing well with th hip healing, then in early May, made a misstep and wrenched the Healing muscles that had been cut in the surgery. I was back to using the walker, then cane. Finally feeling better, but still quarantined. I know my bone density is bad, I've only been able to walk around the block twice. I am excited as hubby is building two 8' X 8' garden plots. I've been starting seedlings and have some that will need to be planted by Saturday. Gardening is one on my favorite hobbies. I have been trying to stay busy with other crafts. I made masks for us and many of my friends. It was weird to just leave them in a bag on the porch and just wave to friends through the storm door. It's been different having hubby do all the shopping & most of the cooking. He's been elevated from being "My Prince" to "My King!" I just today got approval to restart my physical therapy! Yay!!
I'm sorry you had a set back CalfeeChick π but man you powered through it like a champ! Can't wait to see pics of your garden!π·πΈπΉπΊ And ^5 to the Kingππ€£π€ππ
Our county is starting to go back on restrictions because of increased virus #s. Weβve been staying home.
Iβm zooming, (to include weekly family zoom nights) YouTubing a lot of exercise classes and painting. Today a local yoga studio is offering free classes for Juneteenth (I registered for meditation, 2 gentle yogas, and a plank challenge) π§ββοΈ π€Έπ»π π¨
And to answer your question, why masks? If you and I met for the 1st time, Would you know if I had Covid-19? Or, I would not know if you have Covid-19.
So to protect us both, We wear a mask. βΊοΈπ€ππ
A clever answer. I didnβt think the case to meet a person for the first time and the risk. Thanks π I have Rebif for my tratament, that is interferon, that protect me of covid19. I hope so. I walk and take the bycicle on the streets but I look in the terraces people without masks speaking... This is a risk, and There are many contagious in Madrid, Barcelona or the south of my country, in CΓ‘diz, for example.
yes I have been going out, mostly with mask.yes "our government has told us alabama is going through it's second round of this virus".I personally think they just are doing more testing and they are doing testing in very rural areas and there are alot of them, that is why our numbers are up,but we still need to be safe.they can't promise our tests are accurate.oh,what to do ,what to do?
I go out as much as I can. I keep my safety tool box in the car with gloves, masks, hand sanitizer and other medical supplies.
I was blessed with a job working from home helping customers with Apple products. I stay busy and try to still keep my sanity while being a single mom. Cook in the morning breakfast and dinner, clean-up, work and go to sleep.
Just staying put, Jesmcd2 Like jimeka I am fortunate to have my hubs do all the grocery shopping. I have only been out to get a haircut, and that involved a mask and plenty of hand sanitizer. I have no desire to go out of the house since before the virus and I have no desire to change that.
I wish I could just stay home. I am working in the office part time, as usual. Other than that the only places I have gone are doctor appointments and home improvement stores! (This past weekend my husband finally pulling down drywall in our ugly master bathroom...)
We moved a wall in out kids bathroom to make more room in ours. Theirs is done so now it's time to take everything, even drywall, out of ours, move plumbing and wiring, and then we will have a nice bathroom!!!
