It was 80F on Wednesday. Yesterday I had to turn my furnace back on. Today, the wind nearly swept me off the porch. But at least the sun is shining!
We have had 70* weather the past 2 days, beautiful sunshine, real barbecue weather. Love the joke, makes sense in a not so weird kind of way π
hahahhahahhahahahhahahahhahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahha...always wondered what would do it to them ...now i know ...hahahhahahhahahahahahha
as a vegan, speaking for all vegans i'm gonna say.... no. But if you put me in front of cocoanut milk ice cream yes.
Iβm staying in the hospital with my mom (had successful neck surgery yesterday) and the air conditioner is up so high that im freezing
I may not be vegan but I do love the smell of fresh mowed grass, when someone else does the mowing of course. Luckily my husband loves to drive the zero turn ride on mower around. Weather her in SC has awoken the grass and he mowed it last weekend for the first time in months. I washed the pollen off the patio table and chairs yesterday and enjoyed the nice evening weather.Let's hope for a long spring and mild summer this year ππ»ππ€
I mowed yesterday (Central VA) for the first time since October. Much to my joy and relief, the big green machine fired right up! The Pussytoes are up (but I left those that emerged among the daffodils), but I finally mowed the Goldenrod and Blackeyed Susans that bloomed until first frost. My neighbor always tells his wife that I missed a few spots...and she always replies that I leave patches of wildflowers for the bees, butterflies and birds. I don't mow a lawn...it's at the bottom of the rise, something between a meadow and a lawn to please my spirit and sustain the creatures.
Sounds lovely!
Thank you. My neighbor seems to think it's a little messy. He sees mowing as a unpleasant chore. Though I don't like the engine noise, and there are days when it's too hot for me to mow, the pace is slow, I see what is doing well and what needs help. The mow height setting allows the violets and winterberry to escape the blades, and when the Joe Pye Weed and other natives emerge I go around. It wouldn't make the pages of a garden advertisement but it pleases me.
I'm not vegan & just the thought of smelling fresh cut grass makes me sneeze! We had almost 80 degree weather for 2 days then back down into 30s. I really wish someone would put Mother Nature & Ol' Man Winter in rehab! They are reeking havoc everywhere with snow, tornados, rain & hail. It's spring & should be in the 70s with sun shining.ππ
I don't know any vegans who eat grass but I do like steak
has anybody tried dandelion salad?
