Inspiring words about body image

So I found these videos by Taryn Brumfitt, an amazing woman from Australia and I shared them with 4 different friends of mine. The interesting thing is that the two blond, thin friends with no chronic illness said nothing, but the other two thanked me for sharing and felt uplifted. Brumfitt's Inspiration echoes deep in a place of my heart that needs encouragement to make piece with my imperfect body.

Let me know what you think if you watch her videos on YouTube!

so very true but that is what our world does expect and it is hard not to worry about it ...i use to be way smaller than i am now and i hate it not because of what others think but i am uncomfortable ...yes it does bother me when i see people who know what i use to look like but again i can't do what i use to not because of ms but being larger makes it harder to move and get up off the floor or feel comfortable in certain clothes...any way that is how i feel and i did enjoy the video for we all are and we do influence the young girls and our daughters about what we should look like ...so hope all do watch it and let it sink in...

I am 6' tall. I was anorexic for most of my life and used to weigh 119 lbs. Tall, skinny. I hated my body and still do. I am a healthy weight now and certainly am not overweight and still hate my body. At my age I don't think anything or anyone will ever make me feel differently.
