The last two weeks have been crazy! Dad was hospitalized with pneumonia in both lungs; tested negative for Covid, thankfully...but now he can't really talk to us anymore because his dementia has worsened and has him lost in confusion. He says things that don't make sense now.
It's all a very real reminder to "say what you need to say" like that song by John Mayer. You might not get a chance to say it tomorrow! π

I am so sorry for what your dad is starting to go through, and it must be really hard on you and the whole family. Does he still know you? I hope your dad can get comfortable, Blessings Jimeka π€
Isn't it hard? My mom is 98 this July. She hasn't know who I am for several years and has gotten to the point she doesn't know who she even is. It is so sad to see the shell of the strong person she was. The longer it goes on, the harder it is for me to remember who she was. It is so very sad to see a parent like that. Best wishes to you.
