Do not assume you have MS just because you are experiencing neurological symptoms, as there are several diseases that mimic it. Here's what to know about some of these diseases, and how your doctor can distinguish among them. FYI from Verywell Health. Cut&Paste below. Hope this works & helps.

Diseases That Can Mimic Multiple Sclerosis
good point, do not assume ms there are other things that it can be, SEE A NEUROLIGIST get diagnosed, doctor google does not know everything
that's true
But I would think an MRI-based diagnosis is definitive.
I understand that some other diseases other than MS can have a MRI that looks like a MS MRI.
Which ones are they?
I don't understand it all - OK, hardly any of it.
"Further complicating the process are the numerous other disorders that can cause the same imaging findings that are characteristic of MS. These encompass a wide range of conditions, including various inflammatory disorders, CNS infections, genetic disorders, nutritional deficiencies, and more."
My non-official conclusion is that there are many possible diseases that could factor into an MRI and be confused with MS. Might even be a bit tricky even for a Neurologist. I know that I can't dig any deeper for more detailed types of specific diseases.
Too bad, I fail on so many counts. My B12 has been tested for decades, I had how many walk in circles or into walls relapses because on side didn't work when the other did, 7 bouts of optic neuritis, and 3 neuro's later, 2 heading M.S. research....oh and, I've always supplimented with B12 & D's. Guess my refill of sublingual B's coming via mail today won't get rid of xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and x? But interesting. Others be aware. You may be lucky!
