That should last until tomorrow at the rate you're going!
Just a bit! 😄
Amazing what you can do with this, and I agree with greaterexp , it might keep you for a week, correct?
I will be using some of it the rest I will sort so that we can purge what we can't use and this summer we will be using it to make scarfs and hats for homeless veterans. I think a week fir using it up is stretching it some lol
You mean that you’ll use it up before the week is up? That’s amazing, Turtlepie
Wow you have plenty to keep yourself busy. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work
ok little bit
Now u need 😸😸😸
the yarn store absolutely adores you
in todays craziness, they will give you a crown and rope since no one is shopping
THANK YOU!! I'm sooo happy to see I'm not the only one (who knits & crochets) that has a few(?) bags of yarn stash! We do it to be prepared to make anything, at any time. Right?! At least that's what I say. LOL Happy creating!!!
You're welcome I hope that you have some happy days of creating some wonderful items
Are you sure?
Wow! That's more than my daughter has and she spins her own!!
Now, get busy and look for your inspirations! Might be best to make a list of those, too! You could hibernate for quite a while with that stash! Over the past couple of years, I have been trying to use up my stash of fabrics collected over the past 50 years! Made a couple of skirts, dresses and slacks. Anybody who sews ever heard of "Dorothy Moore's Patterndrafting and Dressmaking"? She was my mother, and she learned to make patterns for clothing while stationed in Okinawa back in the '60's. I have some copies of her book that I could share with some of you who sew clothing. They need to be used by someone. It is the same art as used by the Japanese for centuries in making clothing fit for each individual body. You would probably need to know how to sew already and have some mechanical ability, as it requires using an L square, a curvestick and tape measure to make the patterns.
I know what you mean. A year or so ago I felt like there were cobwebs and paralysis in my brain! But, an invalid neighbor asked me to make her a couple of dresses for a wedding. I had to make the patterns and then the dresses, since she is heavy and had picked a style from Zulily! Somehow, step by step, and line by line I did it. She had no idea how many hours I worked on those dresses. The only bright spot in the ordeal was that I found my brain again, and can now much more easily do my sewing jobs and crafts! I would say the "use it or lose it" motto holds true. Get busy! Do something, even if it takes you forever! It is definitely worth your effort!
