I try not to live under a rock, let’s be real. I’m a cop and see things that aren’t reported in media. However, I also try my best to pay attention to my surroundings and with that being said. Our Government is under attack from within. If you don’t believe so, then you probably also believe that this is the first time the Corona virus has been identified.
Think about what’s transpired over the last few months. The government has presented every possible demographic including a self proclaimed socialist as a democratic candidate because they fear something they can’t control.
The impeachment hoax failed and immediately Pelosi vowed to exhaust efforts in overthrowing Trump. If you currently can see this post then until last week you were living in the most thriving economy this nation has ever seen in my lifetime. Only due to the fact that the person in control couldn’t be bought.
If you think for one second this “pandemic” is not media driven, and controlled by the radical people in powerful places....well...go back to sleep under the rock you crawled out from. Oh, and go ahead at this point and click on my name and follow the steps to unfriend or unfollow me as well because you really aren’t going to like this.
This thing has killed less people in the same time frame then cigarettes, cancer, drunk driving, domestic violence, car crashes, cross stitching accidents (j/k on the last one but probably close), stabbings, overdoses, and please don’t get me started on abortion.
Wake up!!! This is what the beginning of socialism looks like! They are controlling what you buy...bc it’s what you think you need, where you go...bc it’s where they tell you not to go, and how to live...bc you now fear the very existence of anything outside of your home and control.

They are crashing the stock market to run on a failing economy, because it’s all they have left. What is this saying to all of the countries that have opposed us for decades but, couldn’t defeat us?

You don’t need hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and Lysol. You need common sense, a sense of direction, faith, a will to fight, and of course guns!

I was only talking to my son today and we agreed on one thing. This is chemical warfare, they say it comes from animals, but what do they test their war fare on, animals. Quite a few innocent people will die.
I may be in the minority, but I am an intelligent right wing Christian American who is an avid reader and searcher for knowledge and a quest to know “why” to anything I don’t understand. I don’t take anyone’s “word “ for anything. I started reading Brittanica encyclopedia when I was 10, and World encyclopedias to know all peoples,,etc etc. All the causes of deaths you mention above are understood. All causes are known. Sadly, the greatest majority are caused by choices made by the people who died. THIS virus has unknown causes, contagions, residual effects, and life expectations - Americans do not like the unknown. We fear the unknown, so we fear Covid 19. Again, statistics depend upon your source, and a person needs 3 trusted unbiased sources before making a conclusion. At least, that’s been my guideline since an inquisitive child. I do not trust one person or one source. Except God, the Beginning and End. All man has done is experimental, as we are doing with this virus. One thing we do know - proper hygiene from touching surfaces and keeping distances from people will stop the progression. That we know. Please do not be a carrier. Even if you are a cop who has more knowledge about certain areas than the rest of us, and my daughter as a frontline medic in a trauma center knows more than the rest of us, we as “dumb” citizens can follow the knowledge we do know: proper hygiene more so than ever before and social distancing. This virus is not our choice.

Go back to telling jokes. You are good at that. But you are very ignorant about COVID-19 and the current pandemic. I am an M.D., board certified in a primary care specialty. I understand virology, epidemiology, statistics, and public health. You understand nothing and you are spewing propaganda.
Well said! The media and politicians are taking a lousy situation and making it much worse than it has to be. Yes, Covid 19 is can be terrible and can be extremely scary if you get it. But looking at the stats, your chances are really good to come through this if you do catch it. At this point, worldwide, only 2%-3% of the people who catch Covid 19 need hospitalization. And then only 2%-3% of those will die. Even one death is too many, but we don't need to be panicking like this. Even those who are in the most vulnerable group (over 60, diabetes, heart disease, etc.) have a greater than 95% survival rate. According to my doctors, I have a higher chance of my breast cancer coming back and then dying from that than I do of catching Covid 19 and becoming seriously ill or dying. My chances of breast cancer coming back are less than 3%, and the likelihood of dying from it is less than that, and I have issues like diabetes and high blood pressure as well.
I guess what I am saying is people need to stop panicking and making things worse. Take what the media says with a pound of salt rather than the usual grain of salt.
We will all get through this.
I am basing my information on the CDC, WHO, my six doctors, and 12 of the doctors I used to work with at the University. I have also read a report that our politicians are using to make their decisions from.

Some people have no symptoms? Some people are super spreaders ? Young people and children aren’t affected very badly? It only takes hold of people with underlying conditions ? You can reinfect and become ill again, yeah it’s really behaving like any other virus ?!

I'm more on board with agapepilgrim on this one. I'm praying that this 15 day sequestering will give time for those who have the virus to deal with it and get over it if possible, and not spread it to others. Also that it will give time for all the hospitals to get prepared for the influx of new patients, as well as get the equipment and protective products needed to handle them. Our hospitals have been so managed as to "beds approved" that this could easily overwhelm their capability to treat the most critical, no matter their age. Even the testing part is just now getting up to speed. The "hot spots" in our country are already showing that this could happen to the rest of us. I agree that it is extreme, upsetting, and maddening, but if you keep up with what is now happening in China and South Korea, their cases are going down now, with the isolation steps taken to curb the spread. The worst part of this virus is the pneumonia that sometimes follows it. I sure don't want to go through that, since we may also have issues with antibiotics. I'm willing to sit tight and wait for it all to slow down. "Reach out and touch someone" by phone or computer. Call people you haven't talked to in a while. We all need the social contacts, just not in person at this time. And, one more thing - the Bible tells us that earthquakes, famines and pestilences will come on the earth, and I believe that this virus fits very well into the pestilence category. We have never seen a dangerous virus like this one cover the whole earth before. Of course, without our media and phones, we could never have known so many details about everything before this point in time. Something to think about, isn't it?
No one could have put it better. People have understand they are controlling everything we can do, more and more. They shut down schools,colleges,libraries
They have caused businesses to close, shorten the work hours, This has affected the travel industry,everything. All elective surgeries have been cancelled. When I go for my treatment I have to go alone, answer questions at the hospital entrance and have my temperature checked. All before I can enter the building. How long will this go on ? Where will we be if the Democrats win the Presidency ? This is socialism....and God forbid the people in this country agree with it. It breaks my heart watching all that is going on. Scary to think what our future might hold.
I stand with you, TexasLawman. I have always thought for myself, and I won't stop now. No point in going out, as there is nothing open, or nothing to buy that I want or need. I am always ready for whatever comes next in my life. And I sure can't hang around with people who are so scared of dying that
they are afraid to live. So I did my usual volunteer stint at the Humane Society today, washed my hands, and my face when I finished, thanked them for the doggy kisses and came home.
I worked in the yard and planted more lily bulbs, and I plan to be here to enjoy them. Linda
AMEN! I've been saying this from the beginning. We have had viruses like SARS, H1N1 etc & What did the gov't do about it? But we are in an election year. I'm stopping here because I could go on & on & probably make a lot of people mad. And what we need is to raise spirits rather than crush them. SO how about one more of your jokes?

"They" wonder why the public is acting irrationally,I can tell you why.Everyday something else is taken away from our normal life.One day we wake up and you can't buy toilet paper anymore,the next day we can't get our haircut,the following day we can't go to a funeral or wedding.there are no more decisions we make ourselves, it seems no more "dating" where are you going to go?can't go out to eat,or the movies,do you want that 1st kiss?This too shall pass,we need to behave, stay patient.it does make you angry.I think the president said around July or August.people are fearful,we have lost our personal control
