Long MRI

I thank so many of you for asking how my tube test went! It was a very long morning! It lasted a little more than 3 hours with a nice break in there. Very thorough, never had one so long. They gave me a contrast I have never had and got some funny feelings afterwards that cleared up pretty quickly. Hope to have results Tuesday or Wed. Will let you know! Love to all, Kelly

Kelly girl you Are my hero. Staying in that tube For 3 hours and no sedation. They have to put me in conscious sedation for any area at all. I had one won ny lower lumbar and put me under very low sedation and it was only about 44 mins. I knew you were tough but now you confirmed my theory.😅😁🤪.

Praying only good news comes back.

God bless you my dear friend

Donnie.

Dearest Donnie, NO, you are my hero for all you have gone through and continue to! But thank you, it was very long, thankfully I had that break. My nose and head got itchy as usual, and could not scratch, very annoying! I hope you and your family are well. Will write you soon. Love you, Kelly xx

Thanks Kelly that means a lot to me after all you’ve endured. My back is one of the reasons they put me to sleep. I can’t lay on those hard tables without moving around. Plus I’m terribly claustrophobic.

Please do write me and tell me how this mri turned out The family’s well just tired raising kids at this age. I had my last epidural yesterday so that’s out of the way now they would just help. Man I was getting up my water hose a few minutes ago and stepped backwards and bam there I was lying on of our solar sidewalk markers. Luckily i fell on off the sidewalk in to that and dirt.🤪😛🤣. Don’t forget to write me about those results. Love you back you back.xx

I love when the doc want head, neck, and spine w/wo contrast. It’s like I want to ask is I’ll have to pay rent or split utilities!

Now that's funny!

Hope everything works out. Next time tell them no contrast you actually had an allergic reaction to it

If the funny feeling you had was feeling warm or like you have to pee that can happen with contrast but if you were itchy, had throat problems or a rash that would indicate an allergy that may require premeditation next time you have a scan. Let your doctor know how you felt so they can decide.

I am due for an MRI next month before seeing my new neuro (he replaced the one that left the MS clinic). The PA was only going to order a brain MRI but I reminded her I have only progressed in the spinal cord (a little more in the brain too but not bad). At first she was going to keep it brain only but then she read my report from 2 years ago and said because I had a lot in my spinal cord I would need all three. Luckily for some reason they usually get all three without and with contrast done in 1.5-2 hours. Maybe they have a faster MRI machine? I do lay very still and that helps too. I can't imagine having to do it for 3 hours!

I hope your results are fabulous 😁🙏
