Today I really struggled with feeling "blue"...I cleaned the kitchen and pulled a few weeds from the garden, but just felt lonely and sad. After wandering around the store window shopping so I wouldn't spend money, I went home and was very blessed to be invited out for appetizers with dear friends. I'm sharing this because friends save my life...they just do! So on a day that you want to just curl up and cry and stay in bed, allow your closest friends in to your space. Your hair may be a mess and your makeup smeared, but the love that they pour over you is life-giving! π

I'm so glad you shared that and so glad that your friends were there for you. On a similar note, I am somewhat of an introvert, so it rarely occurs to me to do the inviting. Maybe I shouldn't always wait for someone else to do the inviting. Remind me about that, won't you?
Thanks for sharing your words of wisdom. BTW, I love your UserName. "Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get."

What great friends!
I don't have any friends besides cyber ones. It's really hard to go out with them. Consider yourself blessed!
That is so true. When I get down & blue I start counting my blessing starting with my family & friends over 3,000 here on health unlocked!! I am rich beyond belief!! Mary
Glad you are in better spirits, blessings
