Here is Jack. He usually won't sit still long enough for a pic, they usually come out blurry cuz he moves as soon as I snap the pic. Can you see the 6 toes on his hind leg? Both hind feet have 6 toes! The front paws are normal, that may be the only thing normal about him. He was practicing for NASCAR the other day in the back yard. He was running as fast as he could around the back yard. He is quick too! He would run about 3 laps & come in for a pit stop & take off again for a few more laps. He did that about a half dozen times. It made for a quiet evening as he ran off all of his energy. He is usually looking for something to get into or attention with hugs & belly rubs.

Looks can be deceiving!
does his feet hurt because of the extra toes ??? that is great he burns off his own energy instead of always wanting to go for a walk...sounds like a great guy ....loads of love for the guy i think he just needs to run or he is going to burst ....
He looks like he's a handful at times.
Earnest Hemingway had cats with 6 toes. I didn't know that dogs occasionally had them too.
I read that occasionally pointers will have 5 toes on the back paw & they remove it right after they are born & he is 1/2 English Pointer & 1/2 Beagle. Jack's don't have any bone, they are just skin with a toenail. They don't seem to bother him or slow him down any. They are difficult to trim cuz I can't get a hold of the nail to extend it so I can trim it.
He’s great!
What an adorable fur baby you have, hairbrain4 I will look for him on the NASCAR tracks next time!
that's great he he has taken it upon him himself to burn off his energy
I have heard of cats with extra toes but not dogs! Perhaps they give him extra grab in the ground when he's running for extra traction!
Awww!
