Jesmcd2 . I had exactly the same thoughts Jes. I’d heard of ms but had no idea what it was. I laid in my hospital and cried for what seemed like hours.

I cried for a whole week-end☹️😭😭😥 My first Neuro (jerk) called me on the phone to tell me I had MS, not to be upset. I had already had a long life!! I thought my death was imminent! When we saw him 4 days later & he told my husband that, my sweet hubby just about decked him. We left with all my records and I was able to get one of the best Neuros at a University Teaching facility. Love my doc there.

Yep; my biggest "triggering" statement: But, you look so good! Sometimes, I feel like I should simply start handing out films of my MRIs after dealing with this MonSter for more than 25 years!!!

DM0329 That statement is one of my biggest triggers. I was stunned when even my close friends said that. I just tell them, the can't see what goes on on the inside!

I'll just show you my hair growing down my back..I don't know if it's from MS or just naturally aging. The long part is the last of my natural red and the roots to about 5 inches have beautiful sparkles(grey) blending in. I've waited all my life to have this hair.😊👩‍🦰️👩‍🦳️

I had a UTI that came on after a few days of missing my cranberry supplement. I swear, they are magic & I won't miss them again.

Then, over the weekend, I had some kind of flu. That might explain the buzzing (Lhermitte's?) in my good leg.

I am going to work out today and see what happens.

Good question!!

Shortly after I was diagnosed one of my coworkers...who had a tendency for being a royal jerk...asked me in a condescending tone if I had "been fixed yet". My snarky response "No I haven't been neutered yet. How about you?" While doing my very best Spock eyebrow raise. There were a few people standing behind him and they ducked off really quickly to keep him from hearing them laughing. His face turned bright red from embarrassment and then he said "I should have asked that in a better way." Yup. You should've.
