Well they finally closed the hole in my heart. Finally after 14yrs of of having TIA Strokes & me begging for them to close it I know it's what's causing my strokes. Of course I had one while they were closing it I expected to have one, Doctor on the other hand not so much. Lol.
I've noticed my MS wanting to be the center of attention here lately.. photo is day after my surgery & stroke. I would have been up the day of but didn't want to give them hell or heart attack because technically I shouldn't be able to so what I do physically at all & in doc or nurse perspectives I understand the odds of stability not in my favor. But damn it they should see my drive & will to..

I'm so ready to start driving again. I chose to stop 12 years ago when my strokes were happening once a day. Although never had one while driving I didn't want to take that chance of hurting anyone. I can't believe I said I'm stopping until they fix my issue but mainly that I stuck with my commitment 12 yrs. The crappy part is I didn't renew my license during this time. And now not only do I have to take written test but driving test also.. haha I'm a mom of 4 son's & I love music now picture that mom multitasking driving. It's a gifted talent a person can't undo. Lol
You look great!! Hopefully the surgery will make the strokes stop. You'll be feeling better from the surgery soon...not as soon as you'd like for sure but soon.
DANG GIRL! look at you up and walking.you are probably a pinch stubborn and thinking "I want to go home".you should be the cover girl for the next ms. magazine, you look great"
Wow, you even coordinated your outfit in the hospital! You go girl! You have such determination. If anyone ever tells you you are stubborn, say no, I'm tenacious.
I hope the surgery helps put an end to your strokes and that you can take that drivers test and drive again Sending positive vibes your way. Keep us updated when you can.
How much I admire your courage and grit!! Good on you!! I will remember how wonderful you look in your gown from the hospital and, especially, the socks...!
