Hello all my friends and family. I haven’t been here for awhile and I apologize. I’ve absolutely had so many dr visits it’s hard to keep up with who and when. Averaging at least 3 per week and all 80 miles each way so when I get a little free time I’m just worn out. Between Neuro urologist and dermatologist I stay on the run.
Saw Neuro last week for MRI results and spinal results were unchanged but had 1 new brain lesions. But I’m having so much pain in legs and joints I can barely walk so I keep up my reputation of professional fall guy. Since my relapse a couple of months ago Seems I’ve just gone downhill. But I talked to my Neuro about a battery scooter and told me that he’d start the paperwork cause it took a lot. So I pray to God that happens soon.
Having lots of prostate problems creating some humiliating test to diagnose the cause of not able to empty bladder. They say I have a diverticulum on my bladder. So I’ve got another embarrassing test December 4 th when they run a camera into my prostate to take a look around and hopefully decide what he’s gonna do which I’m guessing surgery is best option. This test is done at their office 100miles from here so it’s gonna wear me out just driving much less dreading the test.
Dermatologist is keeping check for skin cancer from the Gilenya. But I developed a rash so I had to go back yesterday to see if it was due to Gilenya. So they took pictures to send somewhere for evaluation. So I have to go back in 10 days for another check up.
Well I complained long enough so hows everyone been. Hope you’ve been blessed with health as good as we can expect with this MSMonster that’s invaded our bodies.
I’ll be checking in more regular now I pray cause they have to run out of test sooner or later.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Was wondering about you Doubled51 but figured you were busy with the family. So sorry that your dealing with so much so fast! As you say, you would think they would run out of tests sooner or later! 😒

Hi Jesmcd2 . I’ve got news for them they are going to run out of test soon one way or the other because I’m tired of them poking thing up me and in me. But I’m a tough old bird I’ll make it.😇😇
I’ve been thinking about you. Sorry to hear about all the tests, doc appts., and driving. That all sounds so exhausting! Sure hope it all ends soon and you can relax and feel better.🙏
so sorry for all the driving time in going to the doctors ...wow you are really busy ...and i thought my hour was bad not really but does drain a person ..can you ask someone to go with you and you drive one way and they the next or they do all the driving for just going to the doctor is stressing enough ...or ask the doctors to get together so you can have them all on one day ...anyway good luck and hopefully they can slow down and get to the evil of what is going on for sure and fix all of it at one time ....i know it never works out that way ....my husband use to have all kinds of them in a week even a day apart and i asked if he could get them all in a day and guess what they do now well some can't for the doctor is booked way out but was able to do some all in a day....good luck and hopefully they can help or someone to drive you do them...love and much happiness to you and laugh as much as possible it does help and smile at others for maybe they are having the same busy days all week ...take care and stay safe ....
twooldcrows . I’m two much a glutton for punishment to let someone drive me. Honestly I love driving driving so that helps. I just wish the destination was better. I hope the test I have on December 4 th will be the last of them. Then he’ll make a decision on what to do.Donnie
i know what you are saying ...i still drive to my apts. my husband use to always take me and i do want to still drive as long as i can ...it is a wonderful feeling to drive some place ,yes i am usually tired and have to take a nap when i get home but oh it does good for the soul....i just don't like them if they are really really long then i have to stop at a store or something but that is okay too for where i have to go is where the good stores are at that we don't have here for i live in a very small town ...so good on both ends ..a lot of people how it does feel to be free ....good luck in what happens and remember it is your body so do what you want to do...discuss everything with the doctor and if you have questions ask them and if you don't understand tell them to tell you in your way of understanding it you are not a doctor... have a wonderful day and enjoy them everyday ....love and happiness ...
Sorry to hear that you have additional medical problems to deal with lately. Hope you are almost done with all your appointments and that you can relax. Keep us updated on how your tests go.
Donnie - I have been thinking about you and wondering how you’ve been. So sorry you’re having to go through all the tests AND so sorry they are all so far away.
I was thinking about you and your love of MRIs as I was enduring my 6 hours of MRIs last week (spread over 3 days, but still!!!). At least the place I go to is an open MRI, so the noise is not so horrific.
I do hope the paperwork goes through quickly for your battery chair.
Thank you Sandy. I’ve been getting conscious sedation and it made a world of difference. I don’t dread them near as bad. Just take a little nap and wake up when it’s over. Stand up and go on your way..
I hope it goes thru quickly to but I doubt it . When it comes to paperwork all the drs I found are slow at it.😂😅
If I need prostate surgery I just wish he could make up his mind and get it done.
Well, Doubled51 , what can I say. Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, so you are not just satisfied with being chairman of the falling down club, you are going to start some other clubs? I figured that you were busy with all your grandkids but I am sorry to hear what you have to endure. I know I am female but I do understand what you are about to endure, those tests are degrading but unfortunately necessary. I had to help my dad through all those tests and operations, but when it’s all over, the relief is worth it. You are a strong man of God, so put your armour on and get ready for battle, God will not fail you. jimeka . Hi jimeka. It’s feels good to have a few days off from dr visits. Only had 2 this and one was local so it was a good week. I’ve got so many clubs open now til I can’t keep up with them. I’m gonna have to hire a secretary. I’m praying this cyst procedure is done and the last of them. But it’s gonna be a long wait til December 4 waiting
For it to be over. The anticipation is killing me.
Yeah I know he will take care of me so I’m not worried about things. This is 3 years in a row I’ve had prostate procedures and the last 2 ended in surgery and I’m afraid this one might be a little more extensive so with that Full armour if God I’d probably be worried but with it I’m very confident he’ll be with me all the way. If God’s with me who can be against me.
I hear shooting, and people are runnin' their dogs, so I guess it's hunting season where you are also. As these odious tests wind down, I hope there's a hunting trip with your son to lift your spirits. I remember how you enjoyed last year's adventure with that thoughtful fellow. In the meantime, I hope all these problems clear up, go away, or get fixed good so you can get back to enjoying life.
goatgal . You have some perfect timing because he’s picking me up tomorrow to head to the woods. We’ve missed the first 2weekends because of rain but this weekends gonna be clear so we are gonna head out. Thanks for remembering.
so sorry for all that your going through,but my question is,it seems that all the good doctors are 100 miles away? mine is 70 miles away,just the fact you can drive back and forth is amazing to me,I have a problem going twice a year and I don't even drive it. best to you,you are in my thoughts
Don't be embarrassed. These doctors have seen and done it all. I remember when I was younger and was having a PAP test. (Guys, it's knees up, feet in stirrups and lady parts up to see.) My GP had a trainee in the room (male) who embarrassedly sat in the corner of the room. I said, get over here, look and learn! Some woman, somewhere is thanking me for that!!
I’ve never one to be embarrassed by my body which my wife will attest to. I’ve done some crazy stuff in my drinking days but I never tried peeing in a room with 3 women watching in anticipation and me wearing the gown especially after they just pulled out a catheter.😅😂🤣
Donnie, I still believe fervently that the "Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much" - and when one or two agree mighty blessings can be heard from "Our mouths to God's Ear." You encouraged me to be stronger today! Stay Strong my friend. Keep me posted with everything.
stepsforNeeC . I totally agree and awesome that you reminded me. We had a revival at my church Sunday thru Wednesday. We had a guest evangelist Tuesday night and he was truly an anointed man of God. He laid hands on me and prayed for a miracle in my life. Well I got out of bed Wednesday morning with absolutely no pain in my legs Praise God. So yes I believe in the fervent prayer of the righteous availleth much.
