Good morning to all my ms family. I pray everyone is doing as well as they can taming this monster named MS.
I had a Neurologist appt Wednesday. I was having a little problem with major more than normal fatigue stopping my Gilyena to switch to Ocrevus. So he ordered a 3 day round of solumedrol and some PT on my back. Having problem with my core muscles from surgery. Just having trouble walking without stooping over all the time. Last but not least my yearly MRIs of brain t spine c spine with and without contrast so they can knock me out and take all the pictures they want.ππ π€£.
Then had my second half dose of Ocrevus yesterday and I am feeling and walking a little better this morning which is great. I get my steroids I should be good to go for a while.ππ.
And Iβve got to go back for a sleep study cause the bpap I use doesnβt seem to be doing the job anymore. So Iβve been busy and will be busy for a while.
But I still check in when I can.
Love yβall
Donnie

Great for you Donnie sounds like you moving in the right direction π. Glad to hear youβre getting help with pt and meds. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ππππ€πΎπΎ Ken
Donβt I wish. Thatβs my Zepplin monster and I do mean monster. Weβve raised a lot of kids over the years but he is the stubbornness hardheaded orneriest sweetest little one we ever dealt with.π€π€ͺπ.
He doesnβt listen to anything or anybody. A 20 month old juvenile delinquent. Haha.
We Try to keep bathrooms closed at all times if not there wouldnβt be anything left except plumber bills.π€ͺπ. But I needed a new hat anyway.ππ.
Iβm looking for good things from it. Thursday was my second half dose and I can tell a differenceuite. The nurse comes later this afternoon to hook me up for my solumedrol and hopefully between the two Iβll feel better than I have in quite a while.
Thats what im hoping too. Whats solumedrol? My wifi isnβt working right now so i cant look it up. Heard anything about long term effects of ocrevus? Thats my only worry. Iβm sorry to be a debbie downer in this fun conversation
Solumedrol is iv steroids. Thatβs the fancy name for them. Only from people here that have been taking them for awhile. There are quite a few so at least Iβm in good company.ππ. From what Iβve learned since Iβve been dx they all carry a list of side effects you just have to go with your gut as they say.ππ.
No not at all. Itβs for getting over the stopping the Gilenya Iβve been taking for the last year and a half. It sometimes intensifies the existing symptoms when stopped cold turkey..
They give me a good size syringe before and a tablet Benadryl but this was my first dose so who knows what will happen with the first full dose. Because the tablet Benadryl does nothing for me.
Normally 3 to 5 days according to how severe your symptoms are and your neurologist. Iβve only had to do 5 2 times. Some neuros are more lenient with them and like to get ahead of tht game instead of behind. Mine was the latter to begin with until I was having a pretty bad relapse and I finally asked him what the Sam hell did he call a relapse that I had been going thru one for two months and needed some help. Since weβve been more on the same page.π .
Heβs continuously moving.π€£π€£. And heβs faster old granddaddy. Which ainβt hard to be.π π . But when he wants heβs the sweetest baby youβll ever see.ππ.
