Welcome! I’m sorry about your diagnosis, but know that we are here to help and support you. We share information, ideas, resources, and a lot of laughs and friendship.
I was also recently diagnosed in July. This has been a great support group for me since I joined welcome
Welcome to this forum, dksegues I look forward to hearing more from you
Welcome!
So sorry to hear that you are joining the ranks of the MS’rs. However, you have found a great place to post, vent and ask questions. I come and go in the forum, but it’s a nice place to commiserate.
You’re in for quite a ride.
Good luck

Hopefully this is the link on a free course on ms with the university of Tasmania. I did it earlier this year and it was excellent. They are taking enrolments until September 27th. I just thought with you being a professor in education, you may enjoy it. Anyway welcome, blessings Jimeka 😊

welcome, this group is great, can't wait to hear your story
G'day mate welcome to the family. Look up Dr AAron Boster on youtube. You want to look at his four for four program for newly diagnosed (NEWBIES) GOOD LUCK
Welcome dksegues. I joined this site recently and you've come to the right place. You are able to ask questions, learn things and hear stories of people who are dealing with the same challenges. Don't feel discouraged. It was scary when I first was diagnose and after 4 months of treatment I felt better. Everyone is different. Some situations are more challenging or less challenging. The best advice that I am able to give is, stay busy as you are. Try to avoid stress where you are able to. I understand that it's impossible to completely eliminate it. But try to eliminate as much as possible. I say this because each time I have had a relasp was when I was dealing with stress for months at a time. And last always have a support group like this where people understand what you are up against. It will make the process so much easier. We are here for you.
Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Non-requested, non-expert advice: get on a DMT ASAP.
Welcome! Everyone has replied all I would say! Glad you found us!
Welcome! I was diagnosed in July and I have learned a lot. This is a wonderful group. 😁
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I share with all the newcomers the most valuable information I have learned here since joining last December - book by Ann Boroch "Healing Multiple Sclerosis.". They have used copies on AbeBooks.com for $4 (and new on Amazon). I wish I had known about this book when I was diagnosed 5 years ago. Good luck, and please keep us posted on your developments.
Also, you should subscribe to the Daily Multiple Sclerosis Digest at multiplesclerosisnewstoday....
Hey 😀
Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with MS. On a more positive note, welcome. This is a great place to chat, listen, learn and vent if need be. We all understand what you are going through even though we are all different. MS treats everyone as different as we are uniquely different from each other.
You know,
THANK YOU to all those replies
I see a big shot neurologist in 5 hours and am preparing written questions.
