For those of us that have been here a while, this makes me feel like a proud parent. We have grown so much! We have become a real community, making new friends that are like "Family we get to choose!"

Improving Lives Today!

My MSAA Community - 3 Years

“I found this site after a dozen years or so of my journey with MS. It is nice to be with other members who know what this MS can be like. I have found a lot of support here.” – My MSAA Community Member

This month marks the third anniversary of MSAA’s online peer support forum, My MSAA Community. For the past three years, this forum has helped to create and build new connections amongst its members, and the expressions of gratitude from this can be seen on the community daily.

One member shares, “All the wonderful people that I have communicated with have been nothing but love and I am so grateful to everyone on here because we all get each other while battling this disease. We are strong together.” One member offers encouragement to someone new on the forum by talking about their experience on the community, “Everyone here is wonderful and has really helped me with great advice and tips along the way. I know they will help you too.”

In addition to the community being a place where individuals can find support and camaraderie, the forum also provides opportunities for its members to ask questions and have their voice heard on important MS issues. With events such as “Ask the Expert,” community members can participate in interactive discussions with MS healthcare professionals and other experts to talk about crucial MS topics.

Wow, that's great! Thanks so much for sharing that wonderful milestone with us. Just checked and I have been with the group for almost 3 years. I joined on September 29, 2016 :)
