Has anyone else had success in getting appropriate transportation

We have a 2010 Ford Edge with a lift on the back for my power chair. The car is getting old and I am having trouble transferring from my chair to the car seat. My wife has been wonderful having the patience to work with me.We are beginning to see that a Handicapped equipped van would be a help. Have you seen the prices for a van!? Frustration reigns! who can afford a Van?

Maybe put a post in the paper or Facebook? My buddy in Pocatello Idaho did that and found a decent used one! Might be option🤷🏼‍♂️. I know here in Boise Idaho there’s a dealer that’s all they do is handicap vehicles. Ken 🐾🐾

Check with your local voc. rehab, too. I was told when I took my son there that they would put hand controls on my car if I ever would need it.
