wondering how many people diagnosed fibro before confirmed MS?

sadly the fibro group pretty much the same issues...seem to relate to MS also..precursor?I myself diagnosed fibro until Spinal and grey matter.Keep cool peeps!

Really great question jackiesj I was! I know I was dxed with it and treated for it. Lyrica then took myself off of it.

Interesting! There is no known history of M.S. in my family, however my mother, now gone, had fibro for many years. She was well aware of my M.S., as were her doc's. She never talked about it much. Just suffered with it in silence. Too late to follow up. Interesting.

I was diagnosed with 'ms', nothing else.

I was dx with only MS but I know they do all the testing to find out which one of the autoimmune diseases you have because Fibro (and other autoimmune diseases) can cause some of the same symptoms.

jackiesj My mom has fibro. They assumed I had it (among everything else). Same for for my sister-she is still waiting on her MS diagnosis.

I was first diagnosed with Cronic Fatigue. The only test the Dr did was blood tests. So for ten years my MS went undiagnosed. It wasn't until my face went numb that a Dr did more than a blood test. My second neuro did a sleep test & found that I also have sleep apnea. I have found over the years that some drs are just lazy.
