I have been off of the steroids for 3 days now. I have been totally crashing ever since. I find myself falling asleep at odd times. I even fell asleep in the waiting room at the doctors office. Still waiting for them to start the next 5 days of IV steroids now.

Crashing
I'm so sorry. Has your Dr. checked your potassium level?
I usually experience a real boost of energy after the first day or so of solumedrol, then a big drop after the IV's end...ask your Dr., and feel better soon!
Feel better very soon!! Why more steroids? 🙁🤗💕🦈
Thank you, I am not out of my exasperation yet the first round didn't work.
Sorry, you are not out of exasperation yet. Hopefully, your Neuro will give you a taper when you are done with the steroids. Most of the time when I had to infusions I would have lots of energy but one time in 2007 I had no energy and was really tired. Hope you feel better soon. Keep us updated.

Feel better soon
Hope you feel better soon. Did you taper off the steroids? If you don’t stop them slowly all kinds of crazy things can happen.
no the home health nurse just took out the IV and left. Now she has to come back out and do another IV treatment and I find that I keep falling asleep which is kinda funny.
You might want to email your neuro about a taper, while you wait mbrooks20 ? And tell them what's going on. Especially since they are putting you right back on. Although they might think your going to to need the taper later more!🤔😂 IDK nutting anymore!🤣😂🤗💕🦈
I believe you were diagnosed in 2018. Are you on a DMT yet?
I was diagnosed in January of 2018. I have tried Tecfidera, Aubagio, and several others. I am awaiting approval to start Ocrevus. I have been diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. This is one of the longest exasperations I have been in and I am now starting to wonder if I am ever going to come out of it.
The full dose should be given on continuous days. Even if home health care is required.
I hope you get better soon & get approved for the Ocrevus. I'm on it & it has been great.
