Today my son turned 17. My dog turned 7 on the 1st. I love birthdays. I got him cupcakes and for a gift since I am on an SSI budget I got him a birthday bag with chips, cookies, candy, and a large Dr. Pepper can. It seems like he loved it more than getting a game or toy. If I had known the made Jason Voorhees living dead dolls I would have saved up in advance to get him that since he is a huge fan of Friday the 13th. I got a coupon for a free 2 liter Root Beer in which I got it for him too. I got me sherbert to eat since I wouldn't be eating the Ice Cream he had. Everything was going great until Zoey decided she wanted presents and tried to steal his snacks. It was kinda funny watching him chase after her over a bag of chips.

He hates fireworks because they are so loud they hurt his ears but he enjoys the food and the cookout so I guess that makes up for it.
