This happened to me yesterday. I met an old gentleman who will be 80 next week and he said “ oh it’s so good to see you looking so well , things aren’t that bad then” . So I just smiled as you do and said thank you. Little did he know that I was in such pain and discomfort that I had gone out on my scooter with Razor, my dog, to try and forget about the pain.
