Hurrah! I used to be like Forest Gump - I was always at a near run (the low IQ remains).

I used to hear complaints about my speedy gait. Now that they're faster, they seem much happier.
Youβre less happy but you have a great set of legs, Β falalalala ! π
I was always the slow walker, telling others to slow down, especially hub as I did not want to appear to be walking a step behind himπ€£
π€£π€£ I know what you mean! They have longer legs. My hubby is used to checking my speed now, but when I was healthier he wouldn't pay attention. Then he would notice I wasn't there and stop to wait for me!
Greetings Peoples. It is unfortunate people believe that we can will away what's happening to us If it were that simple. Unfortunately we end up using energy that can go to getting stronger. The goal is to slow this wonderful disease as much as possible. Focus on the task. If takes you three hours to get ready so be it. The important part is you did it. Slow motion beats no motion. Stay MS strong.
I can still walk pretty fast, just not far. I guess this is why I'm crabby so often. At least, that's the excuse I'm going to tell people. π
I used to walk fast, but now with the rollator, I'm so slow I get on my own nerves.π
Finally an explanation that makes sense. Even as a child, I rarely ran because when I did, I always stumbled and fell. My knees were always skinned or scabby. Now, I'm old and slow and perfectly happy with my pace as life zooms by.
My wife walks fast and she's always happy even living with me
