🤭 🤭 that happened to me on Wednesday when I went to the ms nurse. We went in my hubbys long big truck, and even though my sticker was displayed the amount of people who looked because we parked in the disabled. There was a beautiful new mini parked at the side of us, and she was waiting for her disabled mother, and we got talking as she was actually waiting for spinal surgery and she said that she got loads of disapproving looks just because she was in a nice car. Unless you have a broken appendage or you are in a wheel chair, illness is invisible. 🤗

I’ve got that same look before from some knucklehead...but NO ONE would ever think of crossing my path...NO FEAR! 😂 Most people show compassion....truth is...it’s none of their beeswax! 🌻🐝

I haven't had that happen yet.

A friend's mom used to get all kinds of looks and the thing was is that she had obvious limitations.

The people who make that kind of quick judgement are just looking to be offended.

That got me wondering how I'd respond if/when that happens?

If someone asks an intrusive/nosy question it can be interesting to see their reaction if you inquire as to why they want to know.If they're smart, they realize they were being a bonehead.

I've heard more comments about my cane than anything.

The first time was when a friend's friend (whom I had never met) asked me why I was wearing heels while using a cane.

I told her I have MS and will wear them until I can't. That didn't cure her and she remained her charming self for the rest of the night.

Her problem was not with my outfit choice as much as it was with me.

The next time, I was at an art opening and ran into a man I knew from a class I took.He asked how I injured myself and i told him I have MS. He looked embarrassed. I saw that as an innocent question.

The third time I was walking into a store when a man asked me if my cane was part of the outfit.

I told him yes,I am a member of a song and dance team.

Different types of goofballs get different answers.
