Hi everyone! I am Jean. Diagnosed in 1995, I was 45. When drugs were available it was betaseron on lottery. Waited until choices were ABC. Chose A. On it until 3years ago. Suddenly the every 2 yr followup showed multiple new lesions. No idea when during the 2 years or if gradual or sudden. No new symptoms. Dr left it to me to choose new drug except he said not b or c. One of the new ones. Chose aubagio. MRIs don't show anything new and no new symptoms.

More worrying than the new lesions though was the significantly narrowed artery in my brain. Already had high blood pressure and high cholesterol and family history. Started a baby aspirin a day.

Oh yes. I think that heart disease or a plane crash will be the death of me. I hope I am on the way back from a great trip.

Not sure of your question? I was diagnosed over twenty four years ago and have been on seven different DMT’s. Currently on Aubagio for the last couple years and last two MRI’s of brain and cervical were stable and no new lesions 👍. Ken 🐾🐾🙏😉

I thought Aubagio caused heart and BP issues? Can you choose Ocrevus?

I have been on aubagio for 3 yrs after avonex (YUK)...no bad side effects other than maybe a little more hair shedding but only at first...never noticed it myself..so glad i got this..can store it not in a fridge take just a pill no shots...i love it...hope if you choose it that it works for you..i have not had any new lesions either..good luck!
