Hospitalized

4 days ago I was hospitalized by 102.6 temperature when that happens my body shuts down and I can't move and I've been in the hospital since then that was the bad news. The good news is I'm getting out today and I feel 100% better with a bunch of antibiotics to get rid of a UTI. This isn't my first rodeo but it still scares the crap out of me but I just got to tell myself it will be okay.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

Thought I'd mention that I take a daily cranberry supplement and haven't had a UTI since. I don't know if this would help you or not.

Yes I used to take cranberry supplements I had to take 4 times the daily dose for it to do anything for me. That had me worried so I studied up on cranberry supplements and I found out if they could cause kidney stones and so I searched for an answer. What I found out is the product and cranberries that helps fight UTIs is absorbic acid or could be called vitamin c powder. After talking with I talked with a doctor he confirmed what I had been finding out and studying. So by chance I did a search on Amazon 4 vitamin c powder with much success I found it also called L-Absorbic acid. It was 22 bucks for 2 pound bag so I bought it and it seemed to be a hundred percent more potent then the cranberry supplements and very much cheaper without the possibility of kidney stones. I just thought I would pass this on to you if you would like to try a 2-pound bag last me about 3 months.

I do take C and might look into that powder but PACs (proanthocyanidins) found in the cranberry capsules and not the juice is why I take them on a daily. So far, so good. :)

Do you drink enough? I have read not drinking enough could cause a UTI. Feel better!

Sorry to hear you were so sick but glad you are going home. UTIs are the pits. I had one last month with fever and pain. I had to reschedule my Ocrevus infusion because of it.
