Why does everything I do seem to make me so darned tired, it's depressing to not even be able to finish a chore, let alone add anything extra into my day...and for crying out loud, don't let anything overwhelm me or I'm done for days..does anyone else feel like this

So darned tired
Hello Lovingharmoney...sorry you’re struggling with fatigue at this time. I usually don’t get that tired, but when I do, I try to think what may be exacerbating my condition...for example fighting off infection, virus or simply attempting to do too much. I also use low-dose Sativa in the morning which I find helps me with energy. And yes, always finding ways to minimize stress which can compound fatigue, let alone other MS symptoms...sometimes that’s easier said than done tho. I have found that distraction and laughter help with relieving stress. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe let your neuro know soon if it gets out of hand...it may be problems with depression too, which some have success with the right treatment plan...blessings🦋🌺
Yes they are days when task I try seem impossible and make me so tire . I stop try to pace myself and try again just keep trying. Once the heat of the summer is here outside things are done unless I do them early in the morning. I live I live in Texas 100 degree summer days are common
Fatigue is one of everyone’s complaints 🤬. Not being able to finish things or even get started 😖. I am now pretty fortunate that morning and early afternoon I do really pretty good most days 👍. By 6pm I am usually burnt out and haven’t done much 😓. Tried numerous meds and nothing has helped 🤬. So I’ve adjusted to when the sun goes down I do too😴. Ken 🐾🐾👍Stay positive
I have gone from being fatigued to rarely sleeping. I sleep a max of 4hrs. I don't know which is worst. Yes my dr knows. It started after I got out of the hospital and being on steroids for 2 weeks its been over 3 months now
I know we have discussed this ad nauseum, but have you ever tried melatonin? I had insomnia caused by the mercury poisoning (that in addition to MS issues with sleep), and melatonin has helped me tremendously.
But remember, that only helps a certain percentage of people. I tried it on my son and it did nothing. It's worth trying, though!
no I haven't. right now I'm good without sleep its like being back in school. My dr knows about my sleep pattern change.
So what does your doctor say? I thought we need at least 7 hours of sleep.
she told me as long as it doesnt affect me I should be fine.
And here I've always been told by all doctors (including that Chinese doctor) that I need at least 7 hours of sleep...

Oh, heavens yes. Most of the time I'm zapped. At the moment I'm having a bit of energy and getting some things done at home. This is SO unusual so I just keep moving and getting as much done as I can because I don't know how long this will last. (It's already lasted longer than I ever would have thought.) I'm betting in the not to distant future I will crash and burn but at least I will know that I got a lot done while I could.
Hopefully you will get a bit of energy so you can take advantage of it. Treasure it when it comes!
yes, for me it happens the most during spring and summer. It seems like the heat just sucks the energy out of me and makes it almost impossible to get stuff done. I try not to let me stop enjoying myself during those months for they are my favorite months. The cold is a different story. constant hurt during the cold months. I will take the fatigue over the cold anytime.
I agree with mrsmike9biffering. When I get the energy I get as much done as I can. It's true, it's rare when I feel great and have the energy I just go until I can't no more and to see how much I got done, is my reward. I hope you feel better. God Bless

Yes I do,often. I don't have the answer but let your faith and desire for healing grow. Be hopeful and peace. More questions than answers. Thanks
Oh, yes! A resounding yes! The hole in the bucket has gotten me in more than one way. You know when you try to do one thing and need to do something else first. Like when you go to do something online and have to print it and the printer doesn’t work, so you try to fix it and get ink all over your hands, so you go to wash them off and knock the remotes off the table and go to pick them up and get ink on them and by the time you clean that up and sit down only to find you still haven’t finished what it was you started to do online in the first place!
