Yesterday I fell (again!). I tripped and landed on my knees, hard!! It was so frustrating. At least I didn't tumble down the nearby stairs, thank the Lord! I surely would've broken my neck. It was at my friend's house and it was so embarrassing! I had to crawl into her bathroom and use her toilet to push myself up onto my feet (otherwise I'd still be on her floor, ha! π)
This is probably the hundredth time I've fallen in the last 20 years or so. Fortunately, I didn't really get hurt too much, just pretty sore all over.
Lord, please make me 2 things: upright and stable!! π

I know it really is embarrassing to fall, but glad you werenβt hurt. It is frustrating, unless a person is in our shoes, no one really knows how frustrating.
Well Dianne, welcome to the falling down club. Doubled51 and I started this club a few years ago and we will supply bubble wrap suits. Just send your order into goatgal as she is in charge of anything meticulous. Joking apart I am pleased that you werenβt hurt, but be prepared to have a couple of stiff days a head of you. Unfortunately as we get older we are not as supple as we once was, and if you do have any concerns, see your doc before the weekend. Blessings Jimeka π π«
after falling every which way but loose, I prefer my knees I now have permanent callouses on my knees, doesn't hurt as bad now. no broken bones, success! so glad ur ok
I understand your frustration about falling. I took a tumble in my living room a week ago and have been in pain since. Finally called the advice nurse and she arranged for me to get an x-ray. Turns out I have a fractured rib----ouch. I'm thinking the fosamax I take every week isn't working. My balance causes me to fall (I don't have any!). I'm really tired of bouncing off the walls. Does anybody here have balance issues that cause falls?
