Doubled51 the tree looks good. I bet you all had fun. It's a shame everywhere has become so commercialised and stressful. If we could all remember, the reason for the season, Christmas would display more love. Blessings Jimeka π π¦ π
Jesmcd2 I have no idea what kind of birds they are. Haha. As far as presents you can pick out which toy you want cause everything under our tree is toys. Haha.
Y'all have truly been a blessing to me.
Being my first year with MS has been a wild and bumpy road but there has always been some one there with a hug and a word of encouragement and advice. Y'all have helped me thru a hard time in my life and I appreciate that so very much.
@jesmcd2. I love vettes. My original plan when I sold my trans am was to buy a vette. My only thing was they are so low to the ground that with my leg weakness problem they are very hard to get in and out of. But I love them. I am a die hard Chevy man.I wasn't looking for a GTO intentionally it just happened and I fell in love with it. Your dad's a lucky man.
For as long as I can remember my dad has had one or wanted one in the in the garage!π Doubled51 The only time he didn't was when we lived in Fairbanks AK. It's his thing! If you ever want to find my dad has in the garage with a beer and his car!π
Jesmcd2 last week my grandson asked my wife where is granddaddy and she told him in the garage where he's always at. Lol.my dad bought me my first car when I was 12 an old 1954 Ford. Except for my 20 year love affair with Harleys starting in 1982 there has always been an old hot rod in my garage. I built 3 Harleys before my back got to bad but I couldn't begin to say how many cars I've been thru. That black trans am was coming along good the in April I was diagnosed with MS I thought my car building days were over. Beck I thought my life was over. Lol. So in June I sold it. Then in Sept my friend called and said he'd bought me a 67 GTO. So thanks to him in back. When we moved I told everybody that all my life I'd built cars and motorcycles out of a basement now that I wasn't able I had this great big old garage. But now it's complete with a car to tinker with. Can't do what I used to but I do what I can when I can. Some days all I can do is sit and look at it. Then some days I surprise even my self what I can do.
Sounds like your dads my kind of guy. Old got rodders never change. We just slow down in what we can do physically. But when we get in the drivers seat we're18 again. Haha. There's no feeling like punching the accelerator on 400 go of American muscle. Haha.
Tell your dad hi from another American muscle lover.
