Certain words mean certain things. That is what words are for. Do I want to say the young ladies at the mall yesterday in their cutoff shorts were whores? No probably not, then why would I use that word. I really get frustrated and dislike bureaucracy. it is just so challenging a problem for me to solve when I want to get something done. I do not hate it, merely frustrated by the way it does not want to work my way. Usually there is a slightly less aggressive word that I can use, or maybe even using two or three words instead of one. I could even stop and think about why I may feel the way I do. I do not hate to socialize, I really feel weak because I think I have nothing to offer in a group setting. Perhaps instead of sitting in my corner crying I might watch the news or read a book. People these days have such a limited knowledge of history and science, maybe I could educate myself in those fields. “YOU” do have a computer and a lot of information is on the World Wide Web. Why not broaden your horizons and learn something new?

We are afflicted with a rather annoying confusing condition, but why not use it to our advantage as often as we can.

“YOU” have a terrible crippling disease of which there is no cure, go sit in the corner and keep your mouth shut.

Which sentence do “YOU” prefer? Do I make my point, same thing merely different words, try it for yourself one day “YOU” might be surprised at the power of words. Mr Hitler sent Europe to war with his, Mr Kennedy sent our species to the moon with his. What can “YOU” do with yours?

Yes, it matters which word(s) that you use to express what you want to convey. I try to be as specific as I can because how will anyone know what/how/why I think/act in a certain way if I cannot communicate it in a manner that they will understand. Good discussion. I am curious in what others have to say. :-D

reminds me of my granddaughter, she thought she was leaving the house with a short belly shirt on and my son in law looked at her and said go change, the shirt either needs to grow longer or the pants needs to come up either way they need to meet in the middle. as a teenager does she stomped off to her room and slammed the door, typical.seems teenagers are all from the same gene pool
