Is there a name for this?

Hard to describe, but my leg goes tingly for about 10 seconds and then feels terribly, horribly uncomfortable. Like when a body part "falls asleep" and it's that intense feeling when it first starts waking back up - that pins and needles squeezing pressure. That sensation lasts for 30 seconds to a minute, then goes away and my leg is weak for a little while after.

Mine has done this for years off and on, but lately it has been acting up more often? I advised my neurologist last visit and scheduled to see him Thursday to follow up after just having two MRI’s. Ken 🐾🐾

Tell your neuro! Perhaps he needs to change your meds?

I have had those tingly sensations on and off forever (from my 20s and I'm 66). For the last 2 years I have permanent peripheral neuritis in both feet. Yucky. Makes walking hazardous. Always stay aware of where your toes are stepping

Called neuro. He prescribed 50mg of oral prednisone for 5 days. We also discussed changing meds. I've been on Copaxone for 12 years, and haven't had symptoms like this for 10. But was switched to Mylan due to insurance, and was without meds for 2 weeks in between. Not sure if it's due to that. BUT the longer this goes on, the worse it gets. Started out once a day, now it's up to 3x daily.

Thanks for all of your helpful comments and taking the time to help me!
