So, I got married on the 18th May, and me and my husband decided to double barrel our names. I was the first to get my name updated with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). Had the marriage certificate sent off yesterday by special recorded delivery, and today I've got it back from them! It feels strange now being Mrs Charlotte Emily Hargreaves-Wright, and Mrs Hargreaves-Wright sounds very teacher-esque, in my opinion π€£

New name is now Official!
Congratulations! More like lady-of-the-manor or future Dame. π
π€£π€£π€£ nah, I'm more like his Queen π for example, the other year he asked what do I want for my birthday. Now, because our home is made of accy nori bricks, it's really hard to drill into it with a standard electric drill. So, he took me to B&Q to choose one, and it's got its use out of it already! The pic attached is the kitchen clock that needed the hammer drill to put up. (Ignore the bottles of alcohol under it, the fact they've been with us for well over 2 years shows that we aren't alcoholics!) The blue wall, we went to get paint for the wall because it had to be replastered. I had this colour specifically made in store, and had him paint it. I couldn't paint it! I cannot stay on my feet for a long time anymore π€·ββοΈ and he knows π
He's definitely a keeper! And you're like us with the booze. We were planning a dry wedding, and Mum insisted that we have alcohol. She went out and bought a couple dozen different kinds, and while a few people did drink some, we wound up pouring the rest down the drain several years later. I just got tired of moving the bottles around!
He is! 8 years together, watching me be fit and healthy in the beginning, and then seeing me slowly slowing down to a stop. He is my White Knight πβ€οΈThat's alright! I wouldn't be able to pull off having an alcohol-free wedding! Our families, and ourselves, love a good tipple on special events. But, the alcohol will definitely be "enjoyed" by other things, so it's not all going to waste π€·ββοΈ
Congratulations!
Congratulations!!!! The name is fantastic! I absolutely adore it. π
Congratulations πππππ
I think it sounds like someone who rides a horse in the Olympics!
Definitely!!!! I'd love to be able to ride a horse again π¬ managed it a few years back when me and the hubby had a holiday that has various activities you could do, and I really loved riding a horse, and feeding an apple (safely, under the observation of the owner) to both of our horses β€οΈ that, and using a bow and arrows in the shooting range there! That was a fun holiday for the both of us! ππ
congratulaπ₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°tions....sounds great ....love is a special and loving thing so very special....love and happiness....
Congratulations to you both! I wish you a happy, wonderful life ahead!
Congratulations to you! I love that he is changing his name as well.
So, what do you teach, Cwright170994 , AKA Mrs Hargreaves-Wright? Penmanship? Congratulations, by the way!
π€£π€£π€£ I teach him home stuff. Ya'know, like cooking, cleaning, how to properly drill into our walls because they're made of tough brick, how to properly make sure we keep ourselves from going overdrawn. I manage the banking apps and the bills. I've always got things in the calender of my phone. I like to think I'm more organised than he is sometimes π€·ββοΈπ
Congrats!
Congratulations !! Married 43 years to a wonderful woman best decision I ever made. Wishing you and your husband all the best life has to offer.
Thank you so much!!! He's been my rock since meeting me, and beginning our relationship 8 years ago! A true Knight in Shining Armour β¨οΈ π he definitely knows I'm the best decision he's ever made, because I take into account everything in our lives for decisions that'll affect us both! From where to buy our house (practically across the road to a pub and a train station so he can get to work easily), to even defrosting meat for our tea the next day!

Congratulations! I like your new name.
So very happy for you! Iβm impressed with your name, I think you should write a book. It would be a great author name, perhaps rivaling the best names in history! π π
Awwn so Happy for you both!
