As I mentioned before, I have put up bird feeders outside my new condo. It snowed a bit last night so my feathered friends were struggling with the feeders. I went out, cleaned off the snow, put seed around the edges to make it easy for them and moved my dollar store cookie sheet “feeders” close to them loaded up. Within minutes I counted 17 cardinals, some female, but most the glorious brilliant red. I also have seen this morning six blue jays. I get lots of finches. They are so beautiful, gray with brilliant purple heads and some I had never seen before, bright yellow all over. Who knew that birds could make one so happy? I just love sitting in my chair and watching them. The purple ones make me think of Jimeka! Love to all. Kelly xx

Jes, I AM happy. Sorry no pictures. If I try to get close enough, of course they fly away. I have tried through my patio door window, but they are garbage. Maybe one day I will invest in a decent camera. Depends on what the doctor finds or doesn’t find. 🙃 How are you? We need a good chat! Love you, Kelly
Wow! I saw ONE male cardinal the other day and was thrilled! Seventeen and I'd probably lose my mind! Lol!
I see that many all the time! But the first time, I almost wet myself with excitement 😂🤣😊 Kelly
I’m so glad for you! How are you doing?
I will be honoured if you name one of the purple ones after me. What a sight to behold. Warning though, don’t feed and hang your washing out to dry at the same time. Something tells me that with that many birds you could be washing it again 😂 think about you often, hugs Jimeka 🤗
The yellow one is probably a finch. I just saw one on my feeder. Birds are happiness!
Wow! I can only imagine seeing that many! Do you have any photos to share Amore55 of all those birds?
Jessie
The yellow ones may be Gold finches! I love watching birds!
So wonderful to hear from you, Amore55 I agree with you, our fine feathered friends can certainly lift one's spirits! Keep trying to photograph them, and don't worry about getting the perfect shot, just try. You will be surprised at how good your photos are! I have a tough time taking photographs of my quilts, and they don't even move! But I try.
Keep Smiling,
Carole
