This is all good news and I'm excited about it. But life is about to change drastically.
For the past 4 months, I've been out of a job and this has helped me tremendously in dealing with my MS diagnosis in May 2018. I've had time to research everything I wanted to about it. I've adjusted my diet, I got on a regular exercise routine and most importantly made peace with the diagnosis. I'm lucky that one round of Ocrevus put my MS in check. After 7 months, I'm still waiting for the neuro to give the green light for the next round.
Now is time to discover whether I can do this job and manage MS at the same time. I will need to keep the added stress in check and stick to the routine. MS has certainly helped me shift my perspective with work and taking care of my health will be the priority.
I can't thank this community enough for the support provided, the great deal of information shared, and the fun posts that you all share. I am not going away. I probably just won't be online as often. You're like a second family to me.

Congratulations! You've accomplished so much! I wish you the best with your new job. Thank you for your contributions to the group. I hope you can still come back fairly often and let us know how the new job is going.
One thing I learnt from my old job. Don’t let anyone there know that you have MS it not there concern enjoy your self. I am so happy that the ocrevus worked so well for you.
Congratulations, and good luck! You have to decide for yourself based on the situation whether or not to disclose that you have MS. Your employer would get a big tax benefit from employing someone with disability. You might need a special accommodation. So play it by ear.
Wishing you the best on your new job. Sounds like you have done all the right things and are ready to deal with this new chapter in your life. Keep us posted!
Congrats on the new job anaishunter So happy and excited for you! Please keep us updated on how it goes! Glad the meds are working for you and hopefully you will get approval soon for the next round.
I will pray that it will all work for you. You need to keep a record of how you are doing with every thing work & life. Just a few sentences every few days about how you are doing & feeling this will help if you reach a place where you need to file for disability.
one week in, it's all good. Colleagues are great, working hard with a great sense of humor. I need to get into a new rhythm to make sure my body holds together. I'm able to get food that does not contradict my diet. I'm learning to do my yoga practice at home instead of the studio. It's all about will power... It should become easier as we get towards the Spring with longer and sunnier days. I like to be a groundhog in the winter...
