Wishing I had a walk-in bathtub so calgon could take me away

Tried to do too many other things this week (which I knew I couldn’t do anyways...and didn’t despite trying for 8 hours each of the last 2 days). I did help the girls’ coach reserve a flight BY MYSELF (but haven’t been able to order a pizza for 4 years). I told Dan: Now that I can book a flight by myself...I have an escape plan!🏝☀️🍍🍹 His response: Yes you do

Thx @bxrmom for your help today!

Even Mr Bubble would have been fine...bubble therapy sounds like a good treatment plan!🤣

Mr. Bubbles' face used to scare me as a kid. ..still kind of does. 🤣

kris1973 Ah, wouldn't that be lovely. For the last 30 years I've only showered because my balance problems make me fear a tub.

Falling into the tub is as close as I have come. It’s helpful when the curtain bar falls with me...laying it across the top of the tub helps me get out...sometimes🤣 Its more likely to fall if the liner & curtain are both outside the tub. I keep learning new tricks every time it happens.

kris1973 I'm glad your gymnastic tricks haven't caused an injury. Sticking a dismount is dicey!

I think of it more as weight lifting. My arms end up hurting more than my bruises.

Oh, those Calgon commercials! I remember them. Maybe you can at least close your eyes and imagine those moments when you do a little too much. But congratulations on finding out what you can do - and you have an escape plan!

The old commercials were so much better! I love that they are starting to come back. The Arby’s beer can chicken commercial is my favorite: ispot.tv/ad/d4E3/arbys-beer...

I remember the jingle from that commercial.

My fav is the nose whistling grandpa in the Geico commercial. Gets me every time.:)

That’s another good one! Surprised no one has brought the Calgon commercial back yet.

I used to think I wanted a tub you could walk in...until my husband reminded me you had to sit, shivering, waiting for the water to go down the drain before you could open the little door to get out! Not for me!

Hello everyone, I have a question. Is anyone taking the medicine Ampyra to help with walking?

My doctor wants me to start taking Ampyra to help me walk better. This medicine cost around $2,000.
