I am shocked, that may not be the correct word. I called the place where I bought my ROLLATOR and the message I heard was
“ we are permanently closed, check our webpage” so I did that didn’t help me either.
There closed now I’m going to have to find another place to tighten my ROLLATOR which means I’m going to have to go there because the old store would have come out to my house and tighten it
This is a place where I have gotten my recliner, canes and other assorted goods I am in shock this was know little store
I just had to say that 🙃😚🤨😞☹️

Do you still have the owner's manual to your rollator? There should be something in there that shows you how to tighten the brakes. Or perhaps you can look it up on the internet.
That’s a good idea I told my son and he said that he would try to tighten it. But don’t you know he was was here but he has work and finals coming up. You see he was here when one of the guys from the store came out to fix it. and the guy told him how to fix it. I’ll just have to be extra careful.
Please be extra careful until you get it fixed. That’s too bad about the store closing, but are there any other shops you could call and ask about in-home service?
No more accidents Sandy, it’s a good idea of carolek572 to look on the internet, and to you have a friend who can pop by and do it for you? Let us know how you get on, blessings Jimeka 🎄
shocked is a good word. it can be frustrating to learn that a place you've relied on has permanently closed. I wish you the best in finding a new place for your needs.
ssdw1958 Here's another one of those unaddressed problems with assistive equipment and devices: how to obtain or make needed repairs. The wheelchair that is vital to me has been lent to me for the duration. But because I must lock the wheel every time I stand up or transfer, the right brake no longer locks. This allows one side to skid away from me when I rise or attempt to transfer. I have tightened the brake many times by sitting on another surface, upending the chair so I can access the nut that continues to loosen, tightening it again, but within two or three applications of the brake, it returns to its previous state. The nut is one of those with an internal nylon washer which is probably the source of the problem...but the company that sells the chair will not sell me just one nut. So I totally understand your problem with rollator brakes. Our constant use of these products apparently stresses them in ways that the manufacturer didn't anticipate.
