First BIG snow storm...calling for 4 to 8 inches—where I am at—-

Our is 🌧 tonight and possibly snow early morning? 80 percent chance on rain 🌧. Last night Pocatello Idaho was 19 degrees 🥶. Was out front gathering some big rocks and seen my neighbors mom come over and then they left together. Minutes later I could hear water 💦 gushing thought it my sprinkler system that I blew out Wednesday. Walked over to side of yard and it wasn’t mine but neighbor’s was gushing out! Luckily I have her number so I called to inform her and her and her mom was getting on freeway headed out of town for weekend. Luckily I caught them and they returned and she let me in to shut sprinkler system off. It had frozen main line outside and return valve had broken. I was lucky and got everything under control for her and she can have it fixed next week when she returns. 😯 wow, how lucky it would have ran for 4 days if I hadn’t heard it. Always nice having good neighbors so you can watch out for one another. So yes fall is here leaning towards winter ❄️ in Idaho. Hope everyone has a great weekend 👍🙏🤗😉 Ken 🐾🐾

You came to the rescue, and those neighbors owe you big time! But, here's something I learned when it happened in a neighborhood where owners weren't home. Someone (not me) thought to call the fire department. The guys arrived with a tool on their trucks which they used to shut off water at the main. We can all sing the State Farm ingle, substituting your name: Like a good neighbor, Kenu is there!

Yep, snow arriving here on Monday. Has been very cold the past few days, mostly because it is always windy here. No wonder Dorothy and Toto blew away!
