I know it’s crazy 😜 out there 😠. They started Christmas before Halloween was over 😠. Black Friday started last Friday around here 🤪. Glad I don’t participate in all the crazyness👍🙏🐾. Ken 😜
Stressed enough for you? ‘‘Tis the season!
rjoneslaw Blame the calendar! With two big celebrations sometimes less than a month apart, Christmas sometimes feels much too close to Thanksgiving. Before I retired, my friends and family grew accustomed to receiving a holiday gift sometime in January because I wanted to take time to select an appropriate gift, something the recipient needed or would like. This year ,since I can't get out of the house yet, I've ordered everything on line but I may still send gifts that arrive in January. The wrapping paper is packed away in the shed and I need someone to fetch it for me; then, after everything is wrapped, I will need someone else to take it to the post office. It's the thought that counts, the thought that counts, the thought that counts...and much as I would love the bright lights on a Christmas tree, it's not going to happen again this year. Last year my excuse was that I was still unpacking (I'd moved into my house in August), this year's excuse is the inaccessible shed. On another topic, hasn't this full moon been absolutely lovely! I am full of thankfulness for the beauty of clear and cold December night skies.
