Hi Royce I have had contrast lots of times & never got sick I have had a head ache & I thought that was sinus but now I wonder I know the 1 I'll have Fri is with out my MS specialist ordered it. She wants to see if anything is happening up there since I have had no treatment sinces Oct 1.
Mono or EBV virus is quite common. If you were to test most by the time they are adults, their test would show past infection whether they were aware or not of their history of disease.
I think the relationship between mono or EBV and MS is an epigenetic phenomenon. In other words, an individual has a risk for MS and environmental or external triggers like mono flip the switch that turns on MS. Evidence for this is that not everyone who gets mono gets MS but those who have MS often have had mono.
