If anybody makes a comment like god bless you or any such. I am never upet or are my feelings hurt. Jusr because I do not fully understand your belief, never ever makes it wrong. and just because I may or may not believe in what you believe in does not mean that you can not wish me the best. how you do it and what you say is okay. I understand and appreciate greatly the meaning behind your words.
They are okay to express to me and I am never hurt by any well-wisher. I appreciate your kind thought. As I have said, sometimes my thoughts are out there, somewhere. If they make no sense to you, feel free to ignore them. Maybe one day maybe not. It really is okay.

When I was in middle school one of my friends was Jewish. When people would wish her a merry Christmas she would say thank you and happy Hanukkah to you as well. She truly meant well wishes but she had a twisted sense of humor like me...maybe that's why we got along so well together...she liked to watch the person's reaction. She always thought it was hilarious. The majority of kids in our school came from a wide variety of Christian denominations. We only had a handful of Jewish kids. We always had impromptu discussions comparing and contrasting the different religions and there were never any issues. I think we had developed a better understanding of all the different religions represented in our school than most so called adults do today who just won't see anybody else's side of view. I miss my small towns.
That sounds very exotic - bobkas. I only ever heard of those on a Seinfeld episode and ever since then I wanted to try one, whatever it is. Some kind of baked thing. Must be good. Elaine made a real fuss over it. Loved that show.
When in high school, there were required courses of Theology where I first learned about all Western religions and all World religions. These were my favorite classes, along with history. I was a weird one those days, and maybe I still am. I wonder if this is still being taught these days, and it is a shame if it is not.
Unfortunately I think those types of classes are now banned below college level.
I liked history too. Mrs. Six was a task master when I came to homework though. Always be prepared for pop quizzes. At the end of each section of the chapter there were usually 4-6 questions that you had to answer. If you worked your time right you could get really far ahead in her homework assignments. At one point I managed to get a whole chapter ahead. I thought I was now homework free from her class because it was already done. She went and skipped that whole chapter!! So much for that plan. But it wasn't a complete loss. She had those of us who had already done the work turn in immediately what we had done. She gave us some extra credit. Because of that I ended up with an A+ in the class. That I'm told waa nearly impossible to do in her class.
I really am not sure today that the sim is to increase our knowledge, it is just to punch your card on the way to some fruitless and unsatisfying job, certainly was for me.
Someone doesn’t have to believe for me to say God Bless You or I’ll keep you in my prayers. I hope it doesn’t offend that person. It is my way of saying I care about you and you and your situation are important to me. It helps me oftentimes more than the person I am saying it to
That was very nice of you to let others know where you stand. I agree with you. Just because we are all different, come from all different walks of life & have different beliefs, doesn't mean we have to dislike or turn away from each other. Thanks for sharing your honesty.
